Turns out the Senate, which is required by the constitution to ratify international treaties, voted 53-46 to keep America out of the U.N.'s treaty. Somewhere Alex Jones is experiencing cognitive dissonance, oh my!

The conspiracy theorists also said Sandy Hook was a set up to pass gun control laws to take away our 2nd amendment rights. But yet, just this week, the Senate voted no on banning assault rifles, no on banning high capacity magazines and no on extending backround checks.

I remember when the conspiracy theorists believed Bush was going to turn America into a Christian theocracy. None of their theories about the future ever seem to come to fruition. Can you feel that, conspiracy theorists? That's the feeling of epic fail, get used to it! If you're offended by someone praying, something that doesn't affect you with physical harm, you need to toughen up. to insist that you're right not to be offended, even though you have none, should cancel out someone elses consititutional right of the free exercise of religion is plain selfish and petty. People who get offended by such things are simply looking for things to be offended by. As long as they're not insisting that I participate in their religion with them I don't see the problem of respectful silence while they offer their prayer.

Blatant Hypocrisy by Obama Administration

Let me get this straight, Obama parading little kids who wrote naive, wish-washy anti-gun letters, on stage for the national media is perfectly permissible. But if the NRA puts out an ad pointing out that Obama's children go to a school protected by armed guards, it's repugnant and cowardly and using the president's children as political pawns? I guess exploiting children for political gain is perfectly fine―as long as their names aren't Natasha or Malia Obama. What's really repugnant and cowardly, is the way the media criticised everything President Bush did, but when it comes to Obama they praise everything he does. Obama deserves just as much criticism as Bush, if not more, from the national media. The Obama administration should change it's slogan to, "Forward―to hypocrisy!"

~Barack Obama.

And there you have it, my fellow Americans―the most treasonous words ever uttered by a U.S. president, at least in my lifetime. The problem with such propaganda is that to Islam, even so much as doubting their religion is slander. To tell the truth about Islam is also slander. If I say that Muhammed married a 6-year-old girl and then raped her when she was nine, thus making him a pedophile, it would be considered slander, even though it's the truth.

"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act."
~George Orwell

Imagine if, in 1984 before the election, Ronald Reagan procaimed that, "the future must not belong to those who slander the policies of the Soviet Union." The press would have skewered him for giving in to the enemy. Why the silence now when it comes to Obama spewing his treasonous rhetoric about appeasing our current worst enemy, Islam? Who does Obama think the future should belong to? Those who would force their religion on the rest of the world under the guise of tolerance and the threat of murder? I can't believe a bigger deal isn't being made of Obama's wretched betrayal of the first amendment to the constitution of the U.S. Something is truely awry in America today.

If you don't believe that Islam is America's worst enemy, then you need to open your eyes and observe what's plain to see. Let the Muslim bloc of the U.N. push through their anti-defamation resolution. Got news for you Islam, I'm a citizen of the U.S., not the U.N.

To steal a line from Zach de la Rocha and modify it a little, "What? The Religion of peace? Whoever told you that is your enemy."

Selfishness As Virtue

With Paul Ryan's devotion to the so-called philosophy of Ayn Rand (calling such drivel a philosophy is not only a wild strectch of the imagination, but also incredibly kind) coming to the attention of the nation at large, I was struck by an idea about challenging people who hold such beliefs. Anyone who knows a member of the objectivist cult, and is unfortunate enough to own a copy of the steaming pile of crap titled Atlas Shrugged (and yes, I'm included in that demographic) should chuck their copy at the head of an objectivist cult member. When the cultist inevitably gets angry, calmly explain to them that you were just practicing the virtue of selfishness that their beloved leader extolled. Tell them since persuing your own personal happiness without regard for how it may affect anyone else is virtuous, you were just doing what it takes to make yourself happy (throwing a large heavy book at the head of a self-centered asshole). It's what Ayn Rand would want you to do, because other people obviously don't matter.
