JackWed, 25 Jan 2012 22:43:52 +0000http://www.intheav.com/blogs/Jack/2012/01/22/a-list-of-weekend-morning-newscast-channels-and-timewell im tired of trying to find out where local news is on weekend mornings, so im making a list for everyone here as well, its nice to know that weekends matter now. i remember back 10 years ago, there was virtually no news on the weekend mornings at all. so here we go, Saturday Mornings KABC 5AM to 7AM, 8AM to 9:30 AM KNBC 7AM to 8AM KTLA 6AM to 7AM and something i thought would never happen, KCBS FINALLY has a morning weekend newscast, as well as KCAL9, KCBS 7AM to 8AM, and finally KCAL9 8AM to 10AM. ----------------------------------- Sunday Mornings KABC 5AM to 6AM, 7AM to 8AM, 9AM to 11AM, the 9 to 11 slot depends on abc's NBA schedule beginning sometime in the spring as always is the case. KNBC 7AM to 8AM KTLA 6AM to 9AM KCBS 6AM to 7AM and finally KCAL 7AM to 9AM I actually wish KCAL would start later in the mornings on weekends like KCAL9 news at 9AM, going to 11AM, to better compete against KABC, seeing how they show the NBA during most of the spring, usually starting at 9AM, I know they have for years. so please enjoy the schedule list.
