For most people, Halloween is a fun evening of dressing up and eating too much candy, and it is a holiday that is becoming more popular than ever. According to a recent report from the National Retail Federation, seven out of every 10 Americans plan to celebrate Halloween this year. That is the highest level that the National Retail Federation has ever recorded. This year, it is being projected that Americans will spend $6.86 billion on Halloween. Every year Halloween just keeps getting bigger and bigger. But there is also a dark side to Halloween. It is not “politically correct” to talk about this, but the truth is that the way that many people choose to celebrate Halloween is the kind of stuff that real life nightmares are made of. This article is controversial. If you are going to be very offended or very frightened by what really goes on deep in the woods on Halloween night, then you probably should not read it. It is not “cool” to talk about the dark things that happen on Halloween. A lot of people will get very upset when they read this article. But just because people want to deny what is going on does not mean that the horrific rituals and blood sacrifices described below do not exist. So please be warned. This article is attempting to discuss a very, very controversial subject. If you think that this may deeply offend or deeply traumatize you, then you might not want to read it. Let’s ease into this slowly. So how exactly did we get this holiday that we call “Halloween”? A recent article posted on Raiders News Update summarized some of the history behind this holiday…. ALL HALLOWS’ EVE, or Halloween, originated in the 7th century AD. It was celebrated on 13 May and was a night for remembering deceased saints and martyrs. The date was later changed to November 1 in order to Christianize the pagan holidays Beltane and Samhain–festivals of summer, winter and fire. The Catholic Church attempted to make a very popular pagan festival an official holiday of Catholicism. But the truth is that Samhain was celebrated for many centuries before “Halloween” was ever invented. In fact, there are many groups that celebrate Samhain even today. A lot of Protestants did not approve of “Halloween”. In many areas of early America, Halloween was considered to be so evil that it was banned. But later on as waves of immigrants from Europe came over the celebration of Halloween began to spread and today it has been overwhelming accepted by most of society. When I was growing up, most children would dress up as ghosts, cartoon characters or super heroes on Halloween. But today, Halloween has become much more “edgy” and much more “seductive”. An article posted on the website of the L.A. Times noted that even girls as young as seven or eight years old are now dressing very “sexy” for Halloween…. “Halloween costumes for 7- and 8-year-old girls and even younger have become downright titillating, and for tweens and teens, the vast majority of those sold in stores and on the Internet are unabashedly sexually alluring.” But is this a good thing? In a recent article for the Washington Times, Tricia Owen lamented how depraved Halloween is becoming…. What’s happened to Halloween? I live around the corner from one of those pop-up costume shops, and looking in the window is truly frightening. Not because of all the ghouls and goblins, but because of what can only be described as the debasement of Halloween. There are the sexy nurse, sexy teacher, sexy witch, naughty nun – a seemingly endless supply of not sexy, but R-rated costumes. Since when did Halloween become an excuse to dress so, well, slutty? Unfortunately, the truth is that Halloween was never an “innocent” holiday. It is just that mainstream America is quite a bit more eager to embrace the darkness of Halloween these days. Most Americans are completely unaware of it, but the reality is that some very, very bizarre rituals take place on Halloween night. For some, Halloween night is the most important night of the year. There is a reason why many animal shelters and pet stores refuse to adopt out black cats in the weeks leading up to Halloween. The following comes from an article in the New York Daily News…. “This is a time when blood rituals take place,” said Hedy Litke, director of animal placement at the ASPCA. “Black cats are often sacrificed.” Once again this Halloween, there will be cats, dogs and other animals that will be tortured and/or sacrificed. The people that work at animal shelters day in and day out know what is going on. The following is from an article in the Baltimore Sun…. “As horrible as this may sound, cats are tortured around Halloween time,” said Deborah Thomas, executive director of the Maryland SPCA, which for years has enforced a virtual moratorium on black cat adoptions in the days before Halloween. “It’s just incredible what people will do to cats, as if they don’t have any feelings.” Reportedly, black cats and white cats are the ones most commonly used in these rituals, but as an article in the L.A. Times noted, these groups will use cats of any color if they are desperate…. “There are also so-called religious groups that sacrifice animals,” said Leslie Eppick of the Glendale SPCA. “If desperate, they will take any cat, no matter what color.” For those that love cats, stories like these are absolutely horrifying. How anyone could treat cats this way is absolutely inconceivable. But this stuff really happens. In fact, if you are squeamish, you might not want to read this next part. The following is from an article posted on wsbtv.com…. The black cat was carried into the woods near a Clayton County, Ga. apartment complex, sprayed with flammable liquid and set on fire. In Stockbridge, Ga., someone tried to chemically burn a devil caricature, horns and all, into the face of a black kitten. As another Halloween approaches, animal activists and animal shelter officials say black cats, always shrouded in superstition, always linked to bad luck, again are at risk for twisted holiday rituals. “I think more happens than we know about,” Deborah Rumbold of PeachState Pet Partners said. In recent years, there has been an explosion of interest in the occult in the United States. Some of the most popular books, television shows and movies have been about vampires, witches, warlocks, ghosts and dark supernatural phenomena. Unfortunately, some people seem to want to act out these things in real life. For example, down in Florida recently an 18-year-old girl was charged along with four others of beating a 16-year-old boy to death. What was so strange about this was the fact that the 18-year-old girl actually believes that she is part vampire and part werewolf. The following comes from an article about this bizarre incident from the local NBC affiliate in Miami…. Stephanie Pistey confirmed assertions by police in Parker, Fla., that the people involved in the July murder of 16-year-old Jacob Hendershot were in a vampire cult. Pistey, who was arrested last Monday and charged with accessory to murder, said she sees herself as a modern day Dracula. “Since I was like 12 every fiber in my body, basically everything, I know this is going to be crazy, but I believe that I’m a vampire and part werewolf,” Pistey told WBBH-TV. Sadly, this is not just an isolated incident. Just check out the following description of another “vampire crime” that comes from a recent article by the Christian Post…. Just a few months ago, a 19-year-old in Texas, claiming to have been a 500-year-old vampire needing to be fed, broke into a woman’s home, threw her against the wall, and tried to suck her blood. Whether you want to deny it or not, the truth is that there are some people out there that take this stuff very, very seriously. For many of them, Halloween is the highlight of the year. You see, it is not just cats that are abused and sacrificed on Halloween. Children are often involved as well. You won’t find it very often in the mainstream news, but the reality is that a lot of people have come forward with stories of what really happens on Halloween night. If you don’t want to believe what they are saying, then don’t believe it. But that doesn’t mean that it is not happening. While it is indeed true that Paul did not go 40 minutes without speaking – a mistake for which whoever sent out the email within Paul’s campaign should be rightly chastised – the fact that Cooper devoted over 6 minutes to this not so shocking scandal just illustrates how desperate the establishment media is to hide their deliberate campaign to sideline Ron Paul – and CNN have been amongst the worst offenders second only to Fox News. Indeed, it was CNN who discarded their own poll which showed 75% of respondents thought Ron Paul won the June New Hampshire debate, preferring instead to use a lesser known National Journal poll and then wrongly broadcasting Paul’s vote total as 0%, when in fact it was 33%. It was CNN host Howard Kurtz who responded to guest Roger Simon’s summation on Ron Paul that “we’re gonna ignore him,” with the brazen admission, “We are in the business of kicking candidates out of the race.” CNN have been at the forefront of the establishment media’s policy of downplaying and ostracizing Ron Paul’s presidential campaign, and for Cooper to argue otherwise is completely disingenuous. A new study by Pew Research Center confirms that the establishment is terrified of Ron Paul’s presidential campaign gaining momentum – figures show that despite his top tier showing in national polls, the Texan Congressman has received the least media coverage out of all the Republican candidates. “Ron Paul loyalists have been vindicated. After months of observations that the mainstream media was ignoring the libertarian standard-bearer, a new study by the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism shows just that: the Texas Congressman, who has consistently polled in the high single digits — Real Clear Politics’s aggregate poll currently has him at 8 percent — has received the least overall coverage of any candidate. Records of campaign contributions based on Federal Election Commission data released electronically this past weekend, reveal that Romney’s top 20 donors are made up almost exclusively of the biggest private banks on the planet. Among Romney’s top twenty donors are Credit Suisse Group, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase & Co, Wells Fargo and Citigroup Inc. By far and away Romney’s largest campaign contributions have emanated from employees and officials at Goldman Sachs, with a total of $354,700 donated. Indeed, the latest figures once again show that the Ron Paul 2012 Campaign has raised more donations from active military than all other presidential candidates—Republican or Democrat. Paul also raised more from active military than all other GOP competitors combined, and more than incumbent President Barack Obama. Confirmation of this fact comes in the form of a study from the University of Minnesota, published to the Smart Politics blog. The study has tallied the total face time that candidates were afforded during the last three debates. The results speak for themselves. TPM took these numbers and displayed them visually below: GRAPH ON INFOWARS.COM Ron Paul has received just 18 minutes and 47 seconds of time, less than any other candidate, and less than half the time that Mitt Romney has been allowed. Indeed, Romney has racked up a total of 41 minutes and 9 seconds of speaking time over the debates, close to seven minutes more than the next closest candidate, Rick Perry who has received 34 minutes, 12 seconds. The Study notes that during Tuesday’s debate, Romney received a full quarter of the speaking time, meaning he had almost double the time of all the other candidates and approaching three times the amount Ron Paul was given. Despite being placed third in a Harvard University Institute of Politics and New Hampshire Institute of Politics poll prior to the Washington Post/Bloomberg debate, Ron Paul received just 26 and 21 seconds more speaking time than Jon Huntsman and Rick Santorum respectively. Even when he is not speaking, it seems Romney is the focus of the attention, on Tuesday Romney was afforded: · 194 percent more camera time than Rick Santorum · 190 percent more than Jon Huntsman · 171 percent more than Ron Paul · 157 percent more than Newt Gingrich · 103 percent more than Michele Bachmann · 100 percent more than Herman Cain · 77 percent more than Rick Perry The gross inequality displayed here will only serve to confirm assertions that the mainstream media is engaged in a conspiracy to sideline, ignore and discredit Paul’s campaign. Even the authors of the study at the University of Minnesota question the amount of time Paul is getting. They note: “The fact that Congressman Paul has received less than half the amount of speaking time as Romney (and less than any other candidate) is curious considering the libertarian firebrand has run third or fourth in most polls throughout the last several months.” The establishment denigrates Paul’s campaign not because they think he can’t win, but because they’re scared he could win. That’s why they’ve made it their job to try and derail his momentum at every turn. It’s their job to manipulate the American public into thinking they’re wasting their vote if they support Paul because he has no chance of winning, when the opposite is true, he has every chance of winning, if only he was given an equal platform with the other candidates. Patrick Henningsen Infowars.com October 12, 2011 A disturbing new trend has quietly taken hold over simultaneous nationwide protests in the United States over the last few weeks. “The People’s Microphone” was used during union protests in Wisconsin. Visible throughout the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protests, is a technique dubbed as “The People’s Microphone”. It has been deployed nationwide, and is becoming the dominant vehicle for group interaction and communication. So what is it? According to the official OWS wiki page: “New York City requires a permit to use “amplified sound.” Since Occupy Wall Street does not have a permit, police have interpreted that to mean even the use of an electric bullhorn. As a response to such limitations, a phenomenon known as the “People’s Microphone” has evolved, where a person making a speech pauses while the nearby members of the audience repeats the previous phrase (somewhat) in unison.” The entry adds, “The (People’s Microphone) effect has been called “comic or exhilarating – often all at once.” Some feel this provided a further unifying effect for the crowd.” Advocates of this new method claim that it is a work-around to restrictive city ordinances, and serves as a ‘progressive communication’ tool which allows groups to speak and achieve “community consensus”, and that the audience is asked to listen in a whole new way and to actually help transmit the message to others. They will tell you that accuracy and transparency are the crucial elements to the People’s Microphone. NLP device: ‘call-and-return’ OWS’s new People’s Microphone is quite simply a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) application or technique. Its consensus arrival method, also known as “call-and-return”, has now become the audio device of choice- spreading across the country as quickly as the protests themselves. Crowd participants slowly repeat each phrase the leading speaker is saying to them, with a series of hand signs used to provide the speaker and the group with feedback. To the casual observer, this new system of communication may appear as compelling, as it is metaphoric. It might also remind you of the infamous ‘pass the conch’ scene from the Nobel Prize-winning novel by William Golding, Lord of the Flies. It is a very slow and tedious process, often resulting in very few actual issues being fleshed out. In most cases, it takes triple the amount of time to convey the same amount of information that a normal speaker would accomplish by talking directly to the audience. But this can only be done when the group is forced to repeat the words of the speaker, so the speaker is forced to talk slowly, using fewer words at once. In this way, it is also a mesmerizing and extremely hypnotic group communication tool. In this way, such NLP methods can also be used to promote ‘group-think’ and could be described as collectivist mind control education at its very finest. Successful NLP systems like this are commonly used by sales people in business, as well as in advertising and of course politics, working in restricted bloc of words, and often with restricted vocabularies. Group moderators insist that this is done so that ‘everybody is safe’, and that the group is ‘doing things properly’. Any interaction with a speaker can only be done by employing a series of parochial child-like hand-signs, normally reserved for children attending school in K-8 grades. There is certain appeal to ‘being part of the community’, where group leaders will ask the crowd for a ‘temperature check’ in order to determine “how ‘the bloc’ feels about what someone has said”, and if what someone is in consensus with “the bloc”. The audience will offer up a hand signal of waiving both hands to show their approval. Once a consensus is identified, it’s typical that members of “the bloc” will feel that they are part of the collective, and thus, “part of the change”. Unfortunately, in this type of system most of the group have little idea of what they are actually repeating, or who and what they are supporting with their hand signals, waving their hands, or making a triangle sign to communicate. Watch as the speaker in the following video explains to his ‘bloc’ the collective will be banning any applause, because the clapping of hands might drown out someone within the collective who is trying to be heard. (Video on YouTube or Infowars.com) In the end, Occupy Atlanta organizers and the group became so enthralled with their people’s Microphone that Congressman and civil rights hero John Lewis was not allowed an opportunity to speak to ‘the bloc’. The ‘process’ eventually sent the Congressman packing. The NLP ‘call-and-repeat’ mechanism can no doubt be used to hypnotic effect. Often these type of techniques are used in order to filter out the free thinkers, intense self-policing at its most stringent. Notice that when group members are disagreeing, their hands are much lower, but at their maximum when ‘the bloc’ seems to all be in agreement. What these protestors are hardly aware of, is that they may be participating a form of modern day group-think. It is a form of social control whereby everyone in the group believes that they must all agree and must all be of the same mind. Armed with this power new tool, consensus promoters can be bussed into sites around the country, training groups to chant key group-think talking points using mnemonic phrases. The collectivist trap Participants truly believe in the process and that the process is very ‘democratic’, civilized, radical, effective, and thus, revolutionary. But few within these groups are actually aware of the NLP concepts they have opted into, nor are they familiar with tried and tested mind control methods, nor the powerful political tool of collectivism. So it is not surprising that most will enthusiastically join in the group and religiously abide by its laws of conversation, following some scripted agenda instead of being spontaneous or truly radical. The People’s Microphone can also lead a group to believe by these hand signal votes they can create a law and enforce it. This can often result in an oxymoronic “totalitarian-consensus”, where a perceived consensus occurs, but in reality, a consensus was only reach because each member of the group was afraid to be ejected from the collective. In the classic film Dr Zhivago, scenes appear in which leading “intellectual” group-thinkers demolish the private property of others because, according to the collective, “they don’t deserve to own it”. Taking this concept is taken to its extreme form, a mob or individual within the mob could intimidate or even physically assault a person, while the mob believe they are just watching what the collective, or ‘community’ wants to happen. Hardly grass roots It is already well documented that the original Occupy Wall Street protest was seeded by a collectivist George Soros funded foundation called Ad Busters, and allegedly supported by the shadowy agitator hacker group called Anonymous. For the last decade, globalist foundations promoting democracy and freedom have been active in fomenting uprisings all over the planet, and fresh off their international successes they have finally come home to roost within the OWS movement. But what is not as well documented is the involvement of the international CIA front organization called the Center for Applied Nonviolent Action and Strategies (CANVAS). This can be described as a kind of consultancy for would-be revolutionaries, an organization of professional agitators-for-hire who globe-trot, openly promoting their CFR-sponsored agenda- most notably in Egypt, where CANVAS trained and managed Egyptian protestors as early as 2009 in preparation for the fabled ‘Arab Spring’ in 2010-2011. Their projects are clandestine, kept secret while in preparation, names of clients are not publically available, are well funded by American intelligence services. Yes, they are now active on US soil. It is important that readers understand how CANVAS was created from the Serbian political youth movement called OPTOR!(translated as ‘Resistance!), who’s initial project was the overthrow of the Slobodan Milosevic government in Yugoslavia in 2000. OPTOR’s support and funding network reads like a who’s who of CIA and globalist front foundations, including well known CIA front organization USAID, George Soros’s collectivist front foundation Freedom House, and the National Endowment for Democracy whose operational successes include the Rose Revolution in Georgia, the Orange Revolution in Ukraine, and the Tulip Revolution in Kyrgyzstan, each heavily financed and backed by groups funded by or connected to the U.S. government. Likewise, events in Tunisia, North Africa and Egypt were orchestrated out of the finest detail, and it seems that events surrounding the OWS movement are no different. Key operatives in OPTOR!, and later for CANVAS are Serbians Ivan Marovic and Srdja Popovic. After the fall of Milosovec, the western media hailed Marovic as a democratic genius, but it came out his entire program came out of an elite Boston think tank’s ‘regime change’ manual, From Dictatorship to Democracy, written by a Harvard Professor Gene Sharp. From the first days of OWS, it should be noted that Marovic was already on site, and guiding groups by demonstrating the power of The People’s Microphone. Watch here as Marovic himself leads crowds in the first days of the protests: Some of the CANVAS professionally developed, ‘subversive’ revolutionary methods are outlined in the incredible documentary film The Revolution Business, where paid facilitators are employed to train protesters, acting as a guide through the process which also includes communication techniques and the circulation of media talking points. Mind control and the dumbing-down of America “The aim of public education is not to spread enlightenment at all; it is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed a standard citizenry, to put down dissent and originality” – H. Mencken These NLP techniques have taken hold so quickly in across OWS are the very techniques that have already been implemented throughout the nation’s public education systems, and are also present in popular children’s programming. Typically, participants in a mind control exercise engage in group-think, not unlike the participants shown in these videos. Members of the group will also get an endorphin rush similar to what one might receive during an evangelical church performance, or even at hip-hop concert, where the MC shouts, “now wave your hands in the air, and wave ‘em like you just don’t care.” Charlotte Iserbyt was a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), U.S. Department of Education, where she blew the whistle on a major technology initiative which would control curriculum in America’s classrooms shown in the documentary film, The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America. Most Americans participating in the OWS have come through the state education system, whose chief objective, according to Charlotte Iserbyt, is teaching groups, and thus individuals- to be obedient. The dominant message which is now coming out of the OWS protests across the US appears to be the collectivist idea of an unequal distribution of wealth in the United States, and this can only be described as social engineer’s blueprint for a 21st century Bolshevik Revolution in America, and it is playing out right before our eyes as the millions of young, disaffected Americans search for simple collectivist answers to society’s many ills. One can certainly argue here, that the dumbing-down of America would serve such an agenda. Establishing fear in a police state Notice that we already have “free speech zones” in the US, while prospective protesters in the UK must apply with the city police for a license to demonstrate. Aside from the incessant need by most young Americans to be led by a lone, some singular voice, the underlying social engineering tool which has enabled the intellectual and sovereign castration of Americans, is quite simply… the fear of being arrested. One singular thing that a decade of free speech zones, homeland security, surveillance and a comprehensive dismantling of the Bill of Rights(equally under both Bush and Obama) has achieved – is just that – a constant fear of a shadowy police state. Without this underlying fear, the repressive Soviet-style group-think scenes we see in these video could never have been possible. The whole existence of the People’s Microphone is down to the fact that NYC police have imposed draconian measures like banning megaphones. As far as requiring a license to protest in public, not using a PA system in public, or restricting filming in a public space, true patriots and believers in a free society should not seek ‘permits’ for anything, nor should they respect ‘prohibitions’ on a citizen’s right to free speech and assembly. Notice that not all cities in the USA prohibit bull-horning or amplified speakers, yet, American activists have still voluntarily defaulted back to collectivist NLP method, People’s Microphone, initially unveiled at OWS in NYC. More than anything, these videos of mindless call-and-repeat chanting show the deep problems any true freedom movement must overcome in reaching ‘the 99%’ in America. Where it’s heading From its onset, many writers and pundits within the independent media and freedom movement threw their support behind OWS, with the sincere hope it focused on the deeper, fundamental globalist issues- like restoring the Constitution, the need for smaller government, the creation and counterfeiting our currency through the Federal Reserve System, causing the inflationary boom and bust cycles that have been periodically culling the world’s upwardly mobile working and middle classes. Instead, the focus of both protesters and media has drifted towards system actors like CEO’s, bankers and politicians, rather than address the very system itself. If you take into account the level by which the Occupy Wall Street movement has already been co-opted by the ‘progressives’ and the Democratic Party, and endorsed whole-heartedly by staunch globalists within the US power-structure like Ben Bernanke, President Obama and Nancy Pelosi, this writer believes strongly that OWS will likely morph into a permanent left wing counter-weight to the now Republican co-opted Tea Party movement. The movement may have grown organically, but as we saw with Ron Paul’s initial Tea Party spark in 2007, once a movement’s political gravity reached a certain stage, the establishment quickly deploys its professional agitators, political operatives and mainstream media gate keepers in order to control its motion and shepherd its evolution. Already, the mainstream media have injected the talking point which most Americans are already parroting, that is: “America’s Occupy Movement is the Democrats’ equivalent to the Tea Party”. What these movements do is function as an easy access, pressure-release valve for the controlled Left and Right wings. Both parties in the US have become too rigid, offering little to a 21st century society that is now information-rich, but still insight poor, and generally cater to the lowest common social denominator. With unemployment and debts high, and opportunities sparse, the simplified message of collectivism championed by celebrities like Michael Moore will certain hold an attractive appeal to many Americans who are unfamiliar with its well documented past horrors. Soon, the Occupy London movement will begin in the UK. Based on recent trends in the US, this writer will also strongly predict that OWS’s British counterpart will quickly morph into anti-Tory government, pro-socialist, climate change/green movement, not least because the majority of protesters in the UK will be among the ranks of the unemployed, indebted students, and chronic state benefit recipients- a fact which almost guarantees their loyal support of the UK’s social entitlement control-grid, as well as memberships to the collectivist EU and UN supra-national organizations. In times of economic strife, populations are easily lured into a simple, ideological trap like collectivism. Most participants in the OWS movement would be completely unaware of who is directing, steering their new ‘grassroots’ conversation. To avoid the collectivist trap, participants in OWS events all across the US must first learn to read between the lines, or they may unwittingly become party to something completely different to what they thought they had signed up for in the first place. The invented Missile Gap – an extension of the supposed Bomber Gap – is part of a larger reality that we never hear about and is not revealed in most history books: the entire Soviet threat was invented by Wall Street and the international bankers. Warren Air Force Base will collaborate with state and local governments and law enforcement to cut down on underage and irresponsible drinking,” the newspaper reported earlier this week. “State, local and military police will also work together under the program to crack down on drunk people who disobey the law.” The Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs provided funding for the three-year project, estimated to cost $300,000-per-year. The Posse Comitatus Act (18 U.S.C. § 1385), passed on June 18, 1878, following the end of Reconstruction, restricts the federal government from using the military in state and local law enforcement. The statute specifically prohibits the Army and Air Force and units of the National Guard under federal authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity. “Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both,” 18 U.S.C. § 1385 states. In 2006, following Hurricane Katrina, Bush urged Congress to pass legislation overriding Posse Comitatus. The result was the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007. It allowed the federal government to use the armed forces to “restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States” during national emergencies such natural disasters. The changes were repealed in their entirety in 2008. Earlier this year, we reported on military police – described as “crime stoppers” – from the Homestead AFB in Florida detaining domestic criminal suspects. In 2009, the National Guard provided “security” in Kingman, Arizona. The Coast Guard, under the Department of Homeland Security, is now exempt from the Act. The military participated in a checkpoint along with Tennessee cops and Homeland Security in April of 2009. The governor and state representatives were not aware of the illegal collaboration when contacted by the Alex Jones Show. In 2008, the Marine Corps Air and Ground Combat Center and the California Highway Patrol used the Christmas holiday as an excuse to collaborate on a drunk driving checkpoint in San Bernardino County. Following a shooting in Alabama, the Army was dispatched from Fort Rucker to patrol the streets of Samson in 2009. Pittsburgh mayor Luke Ravenstahl called in the National guard to help in “domestic” disputes in 2009. Ravenstahl used a snow emergency as an excuse. I do listen on morning drive and afternoon drive to Bill Handel and John and Ken respectively. I listen mostly for the humor and to see which way corporate media is trying to spin things besides the limited choices. Also since 2007 or so I have listened almost daily to Alex Jones often researching what he says and double checking his sources. I have yet to find him lying or spinning. The only question is about 9/11 as he claims to have predicted it. I haven't heard that broadcast. I do know before Alex was able to predict that another man did. His name was William Cooper. He was murdered by federal agents. His story is worth looking into. William Cooper also wrote "Behold A Pale Horse" and has audio on youtube. That having been said, I am posting this in the hopes that even one of you have an open mind. The CIA doesn't think so. For them it's all about image control. And they're just the start of it. The Department of Defense and just about every branch of the military has an entertainment industry liaison similar to the CIA's. If you want to make a war film and need a fleet of F-22s, a crowd of Marines, or a Navy aircraft carrier, just call up the Department of Defense's entertainment media office and they'll tell you if the Army can spare that M1A1 Abrams tank you've always wanted for a day or two of filming. "The scripts we get are only the writer's idea of how the Department of Defense operates," Vince Ogilvie, deputy director of the Defense Department's entertainment liaison office, told Danger Room. "We make sure the Department and facilities and people are portrayed in the most accurate and positive light possible." Hollywood has been working with government organizations to make more credible films for years (for instance, Jerry Bruckheimer and Paramount Pictures worked closely with the Pentagon when filming the 1986 blockbuster "Top Gun"). But the phenomenon is under newfound scrutiny. There was a bit of a kerfuffle recently when some in the press and in Congress speculated about whether the government will give Sony Pictures any pointers while they make a film about the killing of Osama bin Laden. In a letter to the Defense Department and CIA last month, Rep. Peter King expressed outrage at the Pentagon's relationship with the film's director, Kathyrn Bigelow. King claimed that she had already been made privy to sensitive information that could put American lives at risk. (King may have also have been thinking about the fact that the movie is scheduled to hit theaters one month before America decides whether or not to reelect President Obama.) White House Press Secretary Jay Carney assured the media that the Pentagon does not discuss classified information and suggested that King could work on "more important things to discuss than a movie." Ogilvie told Danger Room that until the Pentagon sees a completed script, they won't make a decision on whether they'll assist Bigelow. Standard procedure is to review the script, make notes on what the Defense Department would like changed, and kick it back to the producer. If the changes are made, the military will provide whatever help they can - declassified information, equipment, personnel, etc. - for a price. If an agreement can't be reached, the project is either scrapped or made without Pentagon help. "We try to find a middle ground," said Ogilvie. "We want the portrayal of the military to show professionalism, cohesiveness, jointness, and dedication." He cited NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles, two shows the Pentagon has collaborated on, as examples of entertainment in which bad behavior in the military is often depicted, but at the end of each storyline, someone always takes action to correct it. In other words, the U.S. government wants us to know that the military is not made up of selfish rogues and the CIA doesn't exclusively employ people who look like Brian Cox. "We want these movies to help us in terms of recruitment and retention," said Ogilvie. OK, fair enough I guess, but why has the Defense Department recently partnered with 20th Century Fox to make an X-Men/U.S. Army ad or with explosion-enthusiast Michael Bay to make all three Transformers movies? In The Washington Post, David Sirota suggests entertainment like this is "government-subsidized propaganda." Ogilvie assures Danger Room that the Pentagon's Hollywood ventures are much more innocent than that. Sure, they'd like to see a boost in military support, but it really all comes back to accuracy in terms of standard operating procedures - "whether it be a combat mission in Iraq or how we might fight a three-legged alien in outer space." Tony Moser Anti-Corruption Journalist. died: 6/10/00 Tony Moser, a critic of the Arkansas Democratic Party political machine, was killed as he crossed a street in Pine Bluff 10 days after being named a columnist for the Democrat-Gazette newspaper and two days after writing an article which exposed the looting of programs designed to obtain money from "Dead beat" parents to then give to their children. The police declared that no crime had been committed since the anonymous driver of the 1995 Chevy Pickup truck that struck and killed Moser was not intoxicated nor was he speeding. In Arkansas, that apparently makes it legal to run down a politically unpopular journalist. James McDougal Crook Died March 8 1998 Jim McDougal was serving his 3-year sentence for bank fraud at the Fort Worth Federal Medical Center in Texas, a facility operated by the federal Bureau of Prisons for inmates who need medical attention. Just prior to another round of testimony before Kenneth Starr's grand jury, and while the reporters who were covering that story were two hours away covering a standoff situation in Waco that just "went away", Jim McDougal suffered a heart attack while in solitary confinement. Left alone for too long, when Jim McDougal was taken out of solitary, instead of attempting to defibrillate his heart with equipment on hand at the facility, he was driven over to John Peter Smith hospital. Not the closest hospital to the Fort Worth Federal Medical Center, John Peter Smith hospital is a welfare hospital, where (in the words of one local) ,"They let interns practice on deadbeats". NEW! The Fort Worth Star-Telegram acquired the official report of the McDougal death via a Freedom Of Information Act request, and report that doctors ignored McDougal's sings of imminent death. John Millis Staff Director of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Committee died: 6/4/00 Millis had just helped the HPSCI complete it's "investigation" into alleged CIA cocaine smuggling which predictably (given that Millis was himnself a long time CIA agent) concluded that the CIA was innocent of all allegations of wrongdoing. Fairfax, Virginia police were tipped off by an anonymous phone call claiming that "a man" was threatening suicide in a motel room. Police arrived to find Millis dead of a gunshot wound. As was the case with Vincent Foster and Sandy Hume, the death was immediatly declared a suicide. Ron Miller Witness Died October 12th 1997 Ron Miller, investigated by authorities over the sale of his company, Gage Corp. to Dynamic Energy Resources, Inc. was the man who tape recorded Gene and Nora Lum and turned those tapes (and other records) over to congressional oversight investigators. The Lums were sentenced to prison for campaign finance violations, using "straw donors" to conceal the size of their contributions to various candidates. Indeed, Dynamic Energy Resources, Inc. had hired Ron Brown's son Michael solely for the purpose of funneling $60,000 through him to the Commerce Secretary, according to Nolanda Hill's testimony. Reportedly a healthy man, Ron suddenly took ill on October 3rd, and steadily worsened until his death 9 days later. (This pattern fits Ricin poisoning.) Owing to the strangeness of the illness, doctors at the Integris Baptist Medical Center referred the matter to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's Office. The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's Office promptly ran tests on samples of Ron Miller's blood, but has refused to release the results or even to confirm that the tests were ever completed. Sandy Hume Journalist On Sunday, February 22nd, 1998, Sandy Hume, the 28-year-old son of journalist Britt Hume, was reportedly found dead in his Arlington, Virginia home. Aside from the statement that this was an "apparent" suicide, there remains in place a total media blackout on this story, possibly out of concern that the actual facts will not withstand public scrutiny. Indeed, it was reported in Associated Press that the Arlington Police were not responding to any inquiries. Hume was a reporter for The Hill magazine, newspaper about Congress for Congress, and had broken a major story in 1997 regarding the friction between House Speaker Newt Gingrich and a faction led by Representative Paxon (who announced his resignation just 24 hours after Hume's death). In addition, Sandy Hume had just joined the staff at Fox TV News and was just three weeks into a job that represented the pinnacle of his young career. Oddly enough, aside from echoing the one Associated Press story, the Fox News website has ignored the death of its newest commentator. Sandy already had a reputation for getting the story that nobody else wanted to look at. It is worth noting that his death came hard on the heels of reports that "a reporter" was about to break a story confirming the White House's use of investigators to dig up dirt on critics. It has recently been confirmed that the man who performed the as-yet-unreleased autopsy is none other than Dr. James C. Beyer, who has a record of concealing homicides behind a ruling of suicide. Kenneth Starr's "suicidologist" Dr. Alan L. Berman has waded in again and as he did in the Foster death ruled it "100% certain that this is a suicide and can be nothing else". Daniel A. Dutko C-chairman of Leadership 2000 died: 7/27/99 Daniel A. Dutko, 54, was the co-chairman of Leadership 2000, the Democratic National Committee's main fund-raising effort. He held many other high-level political positions, including vice chairman of finance for Clinton-Gore in 1995; finance chairman of the 53rd inaugural ball; and vice chairman of finance for the DNC in 1996 (when the Chinese money poured in). Attributed to a bicycle accident in which it's claimed he struck his head on the concretetwice. John F. Kennedy Jr. Potential Candidate for Senator from New York. died: 7/16/99 Within days of an NBC Dateline story hinting at a possible run for the Senate seat currently assumed to be the property of Hillary Clinton, JFK Jr. and his wife and sister-in-law died when the Piper Saratoga II TC JFK Jr. was piloting crashed in to the ocean just short of Martha's Vineyard. The NEWSWEEK issue for the following Monday, which NBC Dateline had reported would announce JFK Jr's candidacy, was yanked from distributors and destroyed. Even before the wreckage of the plane had been found, the media was saturated with news stories declaring the weather to have been very hazy (the weather was VFR conditions, and 8 mile visibility, plus weather radar and witnesses on Martha's Vineyard all reported clear skies) making it impossible for JFK Jr. to know which way was up (he also had working instruments in the aircraft). As was the case when TWA 800 was shot down, the United States Navy took control of the crash site, ordering an unprecidented 5 mile wide no-fly zone while the wreckage of the aircraft was recovered and taken to a military base. Reporters Cindy Adams and Andrew Goldman have documented the planting of false information about JFK Jr. in the media in the days following his crash. The feeding of false information to the press proves there is a cover-up. The existance of a cover-up is why JFK Jr. gets an entry on the Dead Bodies List. According to some reports, Mrs. Kennedy was pregnant. Mary Mahoney White House Intern died 7/97 An attractive 25-year-old woman, Mary was a former White House Intern for Bill Clinton working as the Assistant Manager at a Starbuck's Coffee shop in Georgetown. In the pre-trial publicity surrounding Paula Jones lawsuit Mike Isikoff had dropped hints that a "former White House staffer" with the initial "M" was about to go public with her story of sexual harassment at 1600 Pennsylvania. Just days later, gunmen entered the Starbuck's while the crew was cleaning up after closing. Mary's two associates, Aaron Goodrich, 18 and Emory Evans, 25, were taken to a room and shot. Mary herself had five bullets in her, from at least two different guns, most likely with silencers. A total of ten shots were fired; none of them heard by neighbors in the densely populated Georgetown section. Mary was shot in the chest, her face, and in the back of the head. Someone wanted her very dead. Or to send a message. Even though more than $4000 remained in the store, the police have categorized the triple murder as a robber, even as they acknowledge the "execution style" killings. There was no sign of forced entry, which means that either Mary of one of the employees let the killers in (at least one hour after closing). That means that the killers included at least one person known to the victims. One report is that the Starbuck's was still locked when the bodies were found the next morning. Robbers don't bother locking doors. George Stephenopolis, Monica Lewinsky, and Chelsea Clinton were all regulars at the Starbuck's. UPDATE: On August 1, 1998, yet another young female government intern with the initial "M", Christine M. Mirzayan, was murdered, beaten to death with a heavy object near Georgetown University. Eventually, Mike Isikoff's "former White House staffer" has finally surfaced and its NOT Mary Mahoney, but Monica Lewinsky. If the killing of Mary Mahoney was to silence a "bimbo eruption", they got the wrong woman! (Just how many of the interns was Clinton getting oral sex from anyway??) Carl Cooper, the man charged with the Starbuck's murders on the basis of a confession has now recanted that confession, claiming that it was obtained under coercion (not unlike that of James Earl Ray). UPDATE: A recent affidavit filed by NOAA's Sonya Stewert, confirms that the Department of Commerce was selling trade mission seats in exchange for campaign donatations, and illegally blocking FOIA requests. Named in the affidavit as the White House staffer directly connected to this obstruction is Doris Matsui. Doris's assigned intern during this period was Mary Mahoney. Confidentiality is assured. Vincent Foster White House Counsel died: 7/21/93 Found dead in Ft. Marcy Park in Washington, DC, of a supposed suicide by gunshot. A suicide note was supposedly found a few days later, torn into several pieces, in his briefcase, after his office had been entered by white house staff and materials removed. The gun which he supposedly used to kill himself was reported to be still in his hand, but the person who first found the body reports that there was no gun at that time. Many irregularities surround the death and the investigation of it. Foster was also from Hope, Ark., like Clinton, and also worked for the Rose Law firm. Foster had intimate knowledge of the Clintons' personal finances. Foster was involved in an investigation of their finances, and reportedly made a phone call to Hillary Clinton, in Los Angeles, just hours before his death. Recently, the signed report of M.E. Dr. Donald Haut was uncovered at the National Archives, proving that Foster had a previously unreported gunshot wound to his neck. Finally, an FBI memo has surfaced dated the day after the date of the official autopsy, in which the autopsist informs the FBI that there was NO exit wound. The "suicide" note, (leaked despite official efforts to keep it from view) has since been revealed to be a forgery. Admiral Jeremy Boorda Chief of Naval Operations Died May 16th, 1996 Boorda supposedly went home for lunch and decided to shoot himself in the chest (by one report, twice) rather than be interviewed by Newsweek magazine that afternoon. Explanations for Boorda's suicide focused on a claim that he was embarrassed over two "Valor" pins he was not authorized to wear. Former CNO Admiral Elmo Zumwalt said on the May 17 Larry King Live show that Admiral Boorda was not only authorized to wear the "V" on his medals, but that had personally authorized him to do so when he was serving as Commander Naval Forces Vietnam. When it turned out that Boorda was entitled to those decorations, blame shifted to stresses over the down sizing of the Navy, and even (Washington Times) the adverse affect that feminism was having on the Navy's morale. Boorda supposedly left two suicide notes, neither of which was released. On Thursday, June 25, 1998, Navy Secretary John Dalton formally acknowledged that Boorda had been entitled to wear the decorations. So, like Brown, and like Foster, the proximate cause for the "suicide" turns out to be fraudulent. William Colby Director of Central Intelligence (ret) Died - April 27(?), 1996 William Colby had been the DCI from 1973 to 1976 under Nixon and Ford. At age 76, Colby had found a new career and had just started writing for Strategic Investment at the time of his death. This had worried many insiders in the intelligence community who felt that Colby had already divulged too many of the CIA's secrets in the preceding years. Indeed, his dismissal by Ford because of his over-cooperation with Congressional investigations into CIA wrongdoing. It was Colby who had revealed to Congress the plans to kill Fidel Castro, the spying on American citizens (in direct violation of the CIA charter) and the conducting of biological tests by the CIA on unsuspecting citizens. George Bush replaced him. According to the original CNN report, Colby was reported missing by neighbors who "recovered" his canoe, by one story from under the dock at Colby's house, by another report, 1/4 of a mile downstream from Colby's home. Colby was by all report a methodical, tidy man, yet police found his home unlocked, his computer on, and a partly eaten dinner on the table. The official story is that Colby just put down his fork and decided to drop everything and go canoeing. Colby at 76 was still a world-traveler and consultant to many corporations. He recently became an editor of an important financial newsletter, "Strategic Investment," which covered the Vince Foster "suicide" in detail. Its editors hired three renowned handwriting experts to investigate Foster's suicide note, which hadn't been found when his briefcase was first searched, but later materialized, torn into pieces, with no fingerprints on any of the pieces. Upon comparing this document with others of Foster's writings, these experts declared it was a forgery, and a not very good one at that. Colby had old enemies as well as new, with plenty of motives for his extermination. He was in charge of the infamous Operation Phoenix during the Vietnam War, in which more than 20,000 South Vietnamese citizens -- supposedly Vietcong sympathizers -- were rounded up, tortured and executed. In the 1970s he opened some of the secrets of the CIA to Congress: "Colby insisted on going public about the agency's role in tapping the telephones and opening the mail of Americans; plotting the assassination of Fidel Castro, and using human guinea pigs for mind-control experiments involving LSD," the Times reports. On Monday, May 6th, Colby's body was found just 20 yards from where his canoe had been recovered, in an area that had been thoroughly searched several times by helicopters and search teams. Most notable about the body was the absence of a life jacket, which according to his wife, Colby always wore on the water. As has since been proven to have happened in the JFK Jr. case false stories were being deliberatly planted in the media, including one quoting Mrs. Colby herself as having been told by William Colby by phone that he was going canoeing. Mrs. Colby denied any such story. The week that he died, Colby was scheduled to meet with the Disclosure Project. DEAD BODYGUARDS Maj. Gen. William Robertson,Deputy Commanding General, V Corps, Europe Col William Densberger,V Corps Chief of Operations and Plans Col. Robert Kelly,V Corps Chief of Intelligence Spec. Gary Rhodes, Crew Chief died: 2/23/93 - All were killed when their Army UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter crashed in Wiesbaden, Germany. No cause was ever determined. - V Corps figured prominently in the US Bosnia-Serbia peacekeeping operations, along with the carrier Roosevelt. These men, and 8 others associated with Clinton's visit to the Roosevelt all died within 4 months of each other. Steve Willis, Clinton bodyguard Robert Williams, Clinton bodyguard Conway LeBleu, Clinton bodyguard Todd McKeehan, Clinton bodyguard died: 2/28/93 - "executed" by gunfire in the Waco, Texas assault on the Branch Davidians. - All four were examined by a "private doctor" and died from nearly identical wounds to the left temple, so-called execution style. According to Linda Thompson, videotapes and other evidence indicates that none died from guns fired by Branch Davidians. In his address to employees of the Treasury Department in the Cash Room on March 18, 1993, Clinton said: "My prayers and I'm sure yours are still with the families of all four of the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents who were killed in WACO -- Todd McKeehan and Conway Le Bleu of New Orleans; Steve Willis of Houston, and Robert Williams from my hometown of Little Rock. Three of those four were assigned to my security during the course of the primary or general election." However, the Little Rock, Arkansas office of the ATF confirmed that all four had at one point been bodyguards for Bill Clinton, three while he was campaigning for President, and while he had been governor of Arkansas. In the videotape by the American Justice Federation, "WACO II, the Big Lie Continues," Linda Thompson demonstrates that 15 shots were fired from six separate weapons into and out of a room into which three of the four agents had entered through a window. Four of these shots were fired from an overhead helicopter, an agent outside the window, firing an MP5 submachine gun, who also threw in a concussion grenade, fired at least two shots into the room. In the autopsies of these agents, three had virtually identical wounds to the left temple that exited through the rear of the head, execution-style. A "private physician" treated all four. Alan G. Whicher Oversaw Clinton's Secret Service detail. In October 1994 Whicher was transferred to the Secret Service field office in the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City. Whatever warning was given to the BATF agents in that building did not reach Alan Whicher, whom died in the bomb blast of April 19th 1995. Cpl Eric S. Fox. Died 3/22/99. Crewman for Marine One, the Presidential Helicopter. Shot in the head, and declared a suicide. Five Navy aviators, Clinton bodyguards/escorts (names not determined) died: 3/26/93 - all died in a crash of an E-2C Hawkeye in Italy. The crash occurred shortly after the plane was "waved off" from a landing attempt on the Carrier Roosevelt, due to a "foul deck". - All five men had been Clinton's escorts during Clinton's visit to the Roosevelt 2 weeks prior. Three other men, who had flown Clinton to the Roosevelt for that visit also died later in a helicopter crash. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Staff Sgt. August 18, 1996. All nine people on board a White House support plane were killed late Saterday (10:48pm MDT), when it crashed into Sheep Mountain (also known as Sleeping Indian Mountain) near Jackson Hole Wyoming. The aircraft was en route from Jackson Hole to John F. Kennedy International airport. The Air Force Lockheed Martin C-130 Hurcules transport aircraft was carrying a presidential vehicle and many pieces of luggage, all related to the president's vaction (50th birthday celebration in the Grand Tetons). President Clinton said Sunday afternoon that he was told the pilot was attempting to return to the Jackson Hole airport when it crashed (CNN news report). The Air Force reported finding no evidence of an in-flight mechanical emergency after examining the flight data and flight voice recorders and could not find evidence that the pilot radioed mechanical trouble before crashing into the mountainside as reported by the White House. The victems included 8 crew members and one Secret Service agent. The aircraft and crew were stationed out of Dyess Air Force Base. Four Marine Pilots, Marine One Presidential Helicopter pilots. (names not determined) died: 4/8/00 - all died (with 15 others) in a crash of a V-22 Osprey near Tucson. Witnesses reported the craft burst into flames in mid-air, then crashed. DEAD FUNDRAISERS C. Victor Raiser II, National Finance Co-Chairman, Clinton for President Campaign Montgomery Raiser. Son of C. Victor Raiser II died: 7/30/92 - Both men died in a private plane crash in Alaska, en route to a fishing expedition. The crash was blamed on the pilot, who survived. Five others not connected to Clinton died in the crash. - DeeDee Meyers described Raiser as a "major player" in the Clinton organization. Victor raiser was also chairman of Mobile Telecomm Technologies Corp., whose subsidiary, SkyTel Corp. is an international paging company used by federal police agencies such as the FBI. Victor Raiser was a Washington lawyer and he was counsel to the Washington law firm of Jones Day Reavis & Pogue until 1991. At his death, he was the national finance co-chairman of the Clinton for President campaign. The campaign's press secretary, Dee Myers, described him as a "major player" in the Clinton organization. He and his wife had been friends of the Clintons for ten years. He was the past national finance chairman of the Democratic National Committee. He served on the boards of the Democratic Business Council and the Center for National Policy and the board of advisers of the Democratic Leadership Council. On May 29, 1993, President Clinton announced that he had selected Raiser's widow, Molly Raiser, 50, former Democratic co-chair of the Women's Campaign Fund, to be his protocol chief and stated that he planned to nominate her for confirmation as an ambassador. Paul Tully, Democratic National Committee Political Director died: 9/24/92 - Found dead in a hotel room in Little Rock Arkansas of "unknown causes." No autopsy allowed. - Described by Clinton as a "dear friend and trusted advisor. Tully authored several key strategies for Clinton and the party. Paul Tully, 48, Democratic National Committee political director and architect of a strategy to make the party competitive again in presidential elections, was found dead in his hotel room on September 24, 1992, in Little Rock, Arkansas of unknown causes. Authorities speculated his death was from a heart attack or stroke. In a press release, then-presidential candidate Clinton called Mr. Tully "a dear friend and trusted adviser." He said he was "deeply saddened by the loss." Tully devised a strategy of targeting states based on their value in the Electoral College, and coordinating the presidential campaign with state and congressional races. Ed Willey, Real Estate Attorney, Clinton Fund Raiser died: 11/30/93 - Died of a shotgun blast to the head. Body found in deep woods in Virginia. Ruled a suicide, no note was found. Died on the same day his wife was sexually assaulted in the White House by Bill Clinton. - Intimately involved in several Clinton fund raising events. Hershell Friday, Attorney and Clinton fund raiser. died: 3/1/94 - Killed when his plane exploded. Cause unknown. Duane Garrett, Radio Host and Al Gore fund raiser. died: 7/26/95 - A lawyer and a talk show host for KGO-AM in San Francisco, Duane was the campaign finance chairman for Diane Fienstein's run for the senate, and was a friend and fundraiser for Al Gore. According to Garrett's lawyer, Garrett was under investigation for defrauding investors in Garrett's failed sports memorabilia venture. There was talk of a deal to evade prosecution. On July 26th, Garrett canceled an afternoon meeting with his lawyer because he had to meet some people at the San Francisco airport. Three hours later he was found floating in the bay under the Golden Gate Bridge. Daniel A. Dutko, C-chairman of Leadership 2000 died: 7/26/99 - Daniel A. Luther Parks, Head of Clinton's Gubernatorial security team in Little Rock. died: 9/26/93 - Gunned down in his car at the intersection of Chenal Parkway and Cantrell Road, near Little Rock. Parks was shot through the rear window of his car. The assailant then pulled around to the driver's side of Park's car and shot him three more times with a 9mm pistol. His family reported that shortly before his death, unknown persons were following them, and their home had been broken into (despite a top quality alarm system). Parks had been compiling a dossier on Clinton's illicit activities. The dossier was stolen. When news of the discovery of Vincent Foster's body came over the news, Parks is reported to have said, "Bill Clinton is cleaning house". James Bunch, Influential Texan died: ??? - Died from a gunshot suicide, similar to Vince Foster. - Was discovered to have a "little black book" containing the names of many influential persons in Texas and Arkansas who visited certain prostitutes. John Wilson, Former Washington DC Council member died: 5/18/93 - Found dead from an apparent hanging suicide. Claimed to have info on Whitewater and was threatening to talk. Bill Shelton, Arkansas state trooper and fiancée of Kathy Ferguson died: 6/94 - allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself at the grave site of his fiancée - Officer Shelton was the fiancée of Kathy Ferguson, who was the ex-wife of Trooper Danny Ferguson. Kathy Ferguson also committed "suicide" 6/94 when she shot herself in her living room. Oddly, next to the body were her packed bags, as if she was expecting to be going somewhere. Danny Ferguson is a co-defendant along with Bill Clinton in Paula Corbin Jones's sexual harassment suit. His ex-wife was reported as a corroborating witness for Ms. Jones. Kathy Furguson, Ex-wife of Trooper Danny Furguson died: circa 5/94 - Died of a supposed gunshot suicide in her living room. There was a suicide note found by the body. However, friends were surprise at having noticed nothing wrong previously. And even more curious, found nearby were several packed suitcases, as if she expected she was going somewhere. She was the former wife (since changed her name) of Trooper Danny Ferguson, who is the Arkansas State Trooper alleged to have escorted Paula Corbin Jones to the hotel room for her alleged episode of sexual harassment by then-Governor Clinton. Ferguson's wife was reported as a possible corroborating witness for Ms. Jones. Gandy Baugh, Attorney representing Mr. Lassater in a case concerning alleged financial misconduct. died: 1/8/94 - Died in an alleged suicide by jumping out of a window of a multi-story building. - Mr. Lassater was a close associate of Gov. Clinton, and was later indicted on drug related charges, among other things. Baugh's law partner was "suicided" one month later on 2/9/94 Dr. Ronald Rogers, Dentist from Arkansas Killed in plane crash as he was on his way to an interview with a "London Sunday Telegraph" reporter to reveal some Clinton dirt. Stanley Huggins, Partner in Memphis law firm Investigating Madison Guaranty. Reported to have succumbed to viral pneumonia (See attack on Russel Welch). His 300-page report has never been released. Stanley had been at a Cotton Carnival Party on a Friday night. He was supposed to escort his wife all week during the 7 day event, but told her he couldn't as something important was going down. He has recently left the law firm in Little Rock where Hillary C worked and set up a small office in Memphis. On that Friday night I saw Stan and spoke to him briefly. He seemed extreemly nervous & about to jump out of his skin. The word circulated throughout the party that he had been involved in some secretive issue that was under the microscope. Soon after that we were told by his wife that he had flown up to a NE University to give a speech on a Saturday. He checked into the provided dorm room, by the university employees that said he looked fine. When they called up to his room later in the day he didn't answer the phone, so they went to check on him and found him dead. His wife has tried to get the hospital records, but they were sealed by JAnet Reno under presidential orders of Clinton. Over that weekend his Memphis office was broken into and the only noticable thing taken were his files. Florence Martin, Accountant subcontracting to CIA Related to the Barry Seal case. Dead of three gunshot wounds to the head. At the time of her death she had the account numbers and PIN for a bank account in the Cayman's in the name of Barry Seal which held 1.4 million dollars. Immediately followi9ng her death, the money was moved to someplace in the Virgin Islands. Calvin Walraven 24 year on Walraven was a key witness in Jocelyn Elder's son's drug case. Ten days after Elder's son was convicted of trafficking in cocaine, Walraven was found dead in his apartment with a gunshot blast to the head. Tim Hover, a Little Rock police spokesman says no foul play is suspected. Neil Moody Died Aug. 25, 1996 Following Vincent Foster's murder, Lisa Foster married James Moody, a judge in Arkansas, on Jan 1, 1996. Near the time Susan McDougal first went to jail for contempt, Judge Moody's son, Neil died in a car crash. There were other reports that Neil Moody had discovered something very unsettling among his stepmother's private papers and was threatening to go public with it just prior to the beginning of the Democratic National Convention. He was alleged to have been talking to Bob Woodward of the Washington Post about a blockbuster story. Witnesses said they saw Neil Moody sitting in his car arguing with another person just prior to HIS CAR SUDDENLY SPEEDING OFF OUT OF CONTROL AND HITTING A BRICK WALL. Johnny Franklin Lawhon, Jr. Died March 29, 1998 In the spring of 1997, a tornado ripped through some junked cars at Johnny's transmission and opened up the trunk of a car that proved to have a box of Whitewater records in it, including a copy of a $27,000 cashiers check drawn on Madison and payable to Bill Clinton. Johnny Franklin Lawhon, Sr. realized what he was looking at and turned the box of documents over to the FBI. According to police, Lawhon Jr. (the son) and a friend hit a telephone pole at a high rate of speed after their car had become airborne and left the road. They had driven less than 1/4 of a mile at the time of the accident. This manner of death is similar to the single vehicle accidents that killed Paula Grober, and Neil Moody. Col. James Sabow Died 1991 Supposedly about to blow the whistle on drug running activity taking place on the naval base where he was stationed, Col. James Sabow was found by his wife in the backyard of their home with his head blown off with a shotgun. The Navy ruled it a suicide. In all, more than 40 deaths by individuals concerned with drug traffic on military bases have been declared as suicides despite evidence that murder was involved. Eric Butera An informant who came forward offering information regarding the murder of White House intern Mary Mahoney. He was then sent into a known crack house to make an undercover buy for the police and was beaten to death. Maynard Webb Owned a small aircraft repair business, and had stumbled on several aircraft whose tail numbers were being changed on a regular basis. Was about to go public when he walked headfirst into a spinning propeller. Caetano Carani. Witness to a shooting near the White House. Suffered an unknown infection just before he was to tesify. Death attributed to "apparent" food poisoning. Terrance Yeakey. First police officer to arrive at the Murrah Building following the OK City bombing. One year later, his patrol car was found abandoned along a dirt road, the front seat covered with blood. Officer Yeakey himself was found a short distance away, with cut wounds on both arms and his throat, plus a gunshot through the head. No gun was ever found, and the death was ruled a suicide. He had collected together a vast amount of hard data on the bombing of the Murrah building. That material was never found following his death. His life had been threatened. DEAD WOMEN Suzanne Coleman Had affair with Clinton when he was attorney general. Died of "suicide" with gunshot wound to the back of her head. No autopsy allowed. A very attractive women, Paula traveled extensively with Clinton from 1978 until her death. Clinton, through a spokesman, called Grober's death "a great personal loss." He also said, "Hillary and I extend our sincere sympathy to Paula's family. I had the privilege of working with her over many years." Judy Gibbs, Penthouse model, and call girl died: 1996 Judy Gibbs (along with her sister Sharon) appeared in the December 1979 issue of Penthouse, and later worked at a bordello near Mena, Arkansas which also ran a blackmail operation with photos taken of the customers with their girls. According to the Gibbs family, Bill Clinton was a regular customer of Judy. While cooperating with law enforcement in a drug investigation, Judy was burned alive when her house burned down. In a sworn statement, Clinton bodyguard Barry Spivey related how he had been with the governor when the governor's plane had flown over Judy Gibb's house and Clinton had shown Judy's penthouse photos on the plane and pointed out the house. DEAD INVESTIGATORS Paul Wilcher, Washington attorney investigating gun running out of Mena, Arkansas. died: 6/22/93 - Found dead on a toilet in his Washington apartment. No cause of death was ever reported by the coroner. At the time of his death, he was investigating connections between the "October surprise" during the 1980 federal election campaign and drug and gunrunning out of Mena, Arkansas, as well as the BATF assault on the Waco, Texas Branch Davidians. Was planning on producing a television documentary on his findings. He had delivered a 105-page affidavit to Janet Reno detailing the evidence he had collected regarding the drug operation at Mena, just three weeks before his death. Jon Parnell Walker, RTC investigator Mysteriously fell to his death from an apartment balcony. The same apartment which was alleged to have been a secret getaway which Foster may have visited. DEAD COMMERCE DEPARTMENT DEATHS Ron Brown, Former Chairman, DNC; Commerce Secretary died: 5/3/96 - Ron Brown died along with 39 other people when the T-43 (a converted 737 used by the Air Force) carrying the group on a trip to Bosnia crashed while approaching the Dubrovnik airport. On the verge of being indicted and having stated publicly his willingness to make a deal with prosecutors, Ron Brown's death brought to an end his ability to testify. As of this writing, Judicial Watch has petitioned for the investigation into on Brown's dealings to be expanded to include his death. (NOTE: Also belongs under dead fundraisers) Barbara Wise, Commerce Department Staffer died: 11/29/96 - As the scandals continued to swirl around the John Huang, one of Huang's associates, Barbara Wise, was found dead in her locked office on the fourth floor of the Department of Commerce, partially nude (by one report completely nude) and covered with bruises. No cause of death has ever been announced even though an autopsy was conducted (prior to next of kin being notified). Calls to the D.C. autopsist, Dr. Jaardemal have gotten an assurance that the bruises were not from being beaten but nothing else. Despite claims of ongoing illness, no record of a hospital visit in the months leading up to her death has surfaced. Oddly enough, following the discovery of her body, Bill Clinton made an unscheduled return to the White House from Camp David, claiming he needed a book of poetry in order to complete his inauguration speech. John Huang was placed on a Commerce Department contract that allowed him to retain his security clearance by Charles Meissner. Charles Meissner died on the plane with Ron Brown. THE HENRY - IVES DEATHS, A.K.A. THE "TRAIN DEATHS" Kevin Ives & Don Henry Initial cause of death was reported to be the result of falling asleep on a railroad track in Arkansas on August 23, 1987. This ruling was reported by the State medical examiner Fahmy Malak. Later it was determined that Kevin died from a crushed skull prior to being placed on the tracks. Don had been stabbed in the back. Rumors indicate that they might have stumbled upon part of the Mena drug operation, specifically a drop site in the area of Bauxite and Alexander, Arkansas. Keith Coney Keith had information on the Ives/Henry deaths. Died in a motorcycle accident in July 1988 while being chased by a car. Ruled a traffic accident. Keith McKaskle McKaskle has information on the Ives/Henry deaths. He was stabbed to death in November 1988. He had told his family someone was out to kill him and told tem "good bye". Gregory Collins Greg had information on the Ives/Henry deaths. He died from a gunshot blast to the face in January 1989. Declared a suicide. Paul Olson A Federal witness in investigations to drug money corruption in Chicago politics, Paul had just finished 2 days of FBI interviews when his plane ride home crashed, killing Paul and 130 others on Sept 8 1994. The Sept. 15, 1994 Tempe Tribune newspaper reported that the FBI suspected that a bomb had brought down the airplane. Jeff Rhodes He had information on the deaths of Ives, Henry & McKaskle. His burned body was found in a trash dump in April 1989. He died of a gunshot wound to the head and there was some body mutilation, specifically that his hands and feet had been partially sawn off, leading to the speculation that he was tortured prior to being killed. The body was then burned. James Milam Milam was decapitated. The state Medical examiner, Fahmy Malak, initially ruled death due to natural causes, claiming that the victim's small dog had eaten the head, which was later recovered from a trash bin several blocks away. Richard Winters Winters were a suspect in the deaths of Ives & Henry, and had offered to cooperate. He was killed by a shotgun blast to the face during a "robbery" in July 1989, which was subsequently proven to be a setup. Dan Harmon, the Prosecutor who Winters reportedly made the offer to, has since been implicated in the Kevin/Ives deaths and is now in jail for running his office as a racket. Jordan Kettleson Kettleson had information on the Ives & Henry deaths. He was found shot to death in the front seat of his pickup in June 1990. Barry Seal Now known to have been a drug runner for the CIA, operating out of the Mena airport, Barry Seal had reportedly kept in contact with Bill Clinton's head of security at the governor's mansion, Raymond "Buddy" Young, the ex rodeo clown who is now the number 2 man at FEMA. Following his fall from CIA grace, Barry was sentenced to live at a Salvation Army Housing Complex by a judge who also prohibited Barry Seal to either have any guns or to employ any bodyguards. Corruption doesn't become any more obvious than this. Barry was gunned down with machine gun fire in the parking lot of the Salvation Army Housing Complex. In violation of the court order, Barry had hired bodyguards who worked a rotation schedule. But the bodyguard who was to be there when Barry was killed never showed up. That bodyguard, according to video producer Daniel Hopsicker, was a former associate (meaning drug pilot) of Barry's named William "Bear" Bottoms. Bottoms continues to this very day to prowl the internet insisting that there never was any drug running operation at Mena, Arkansas. Anonymous Barry Seal's aircraft mechanic at Mena (name unknown as of this time) died March 21, 1995 of an "overdose of mouthwash". Regarded by local authorities as an obvious homicide. MISC DEATHS/NEAR MISSES Stanley Heard, Chairman, National Chiropractic Health Care Advisory Committee Steve Dickson, - Counsel to Mr. Heard died: 9/10/93 Both died in a plane crash outside Dulles airport, after their aircraft, rented after Heard's personal craft developed troubles, crashed while attempting an emergency landing after reporting a fire on board. Carlos Ghigliotti, Thermal Imaging Expert Carlos Ghigliotti: 42, was found dead in his home just outside of Washington D.C. on April 28, 2000. There was no sign of a break-in or struggle at the firm of Infrared Technology where the badly decomposed body of Ghigliotti was found. Ghigliotti had not been seen for several weeks. Ghigliotti, a thermal imaging analyst hired by the House Government Reform Committee to review tape of the siege, said he determined the FBI fired shots on April 19, 1993. The FBI has explained the light bursts on infrared footage as reflections of sun rays on shards of glass or other debris that littered the scene. CIPA, enacted some 30 years ago, is designed to keep a lid on the public disclosure in criminal cases of classified materials, such as those associated with CIA operations. The rule requires that notice be given to the judge in advance of any move to introduce classified evidence in a case so that the judge can determine if it is admissible, or if another suitable substitution can be arranged that preserves the defendants right to a fair trial. “That is a very reasonable conclusion [that the CIA is likely involved in this case in some way],” says a former federal agent familiar with national security procedures. “Seeking CIPA protection, yup, there is hot stuff to hide.” Zambada Niebla, extradited to the US in February 2010 and now facing narco-trafficking charges in federal court in Chicago, claims in pleadings in his case that the US government entered into a pact with the leadership of the Mexican Sinaloa narco-trafficking organization that supposedly provide its chief narcos with immunity in exchange for them providing US authorities with information that could be used to target other narco-trafficking organizations. The US government, in pleadings filed in the case this past July and again this past Friday, denies that Zambada Niebla was granted immunity by any law enforcement agency for the narco-trafficking crimes spelled out in the indictment against him. Those same pleadings do not broach the topic of whether he, or his Sinaloa organization associates, might have had a cooperative relationship with US intelligence agencies, such as the CIA. The US mainstream media echoed loudly the US government’s denial of any law-enforcement immunity deal existing with Zambada Niebla via a barrage of reports published in recent days, but those same reports are completely silent on the CIPA pleadings that were lodged with the court at the same time as the government’s denials. A key player central to the informant pact struck between the US government and the Sinaloa organization’s leadership, according to Zambada Niebla’s court filings, is a Mexican lawyer named Humberto Loya Castro, who is described in US legal documents as “a close confidante of Joaquin Guzman Loera (Chapo),” the supposed leader of the Sinaloa organization. Loya Castro acted as the intermediary representing the Sinaloa organization in its quid pro quo arrangement with the US government, Zambada Niebla’s court pleadings allege. US government pleadings filed late last week confirm that Loya Castro was a DEA cooperating source for some 10 years while also working for the Sinaloa organization. Narco News’ law enforcement sources contend, however, that given his importance as a foreign intelligence source, Loya Castro likely was also employed in a dual role as a CIA asset. Zambada Niebla is the son of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada Garcia, one of the purported top leaders of the Sinaloa drug-trafficking organization — a major Mexican-based importer of weapons and exporter of drugs. The top capo of the Sinaloa drug organization, named after the Pacific Coast Mexican state where it is based, is Guzman Loera — who escaped from a maximum security prison in Mexico in 2001, only days before he was slated to be extradited to the United States. Chapo has since gone on to build one of the most powerful drug “cartels” in Mexico. With the death of Osama Bin Laden in May, Chapo (a Spanish nickname meaning “shorty”) jumped to the top of the FBI’s “Most Wanted” persons list. He also made Forbes Magazine’s 2010 list of “The World’s Most Powerful People.” Information contained in the latest US government pleadings filed in Zambada Niebla's case seems to support his claims that the leadership of the Sinaloa organization at least believed they had a cooperative relationship in place with the US government via Mexican attorney Loya Castro. It is clear from the US government’s court filings that Loya Castro’s dealing with the US government are known to the leadership of the Sinaloa organization, including Chapo Guzman and Ismael Zambada, given that Loya Castro actually met with Zambala Niebla’s attorneys in Mexico City, with the knowledge of Ismael Zambada, sometime in 2010. The purpose of that meeting, in part, was to discuss the nature of Loya Castro’s cooperation with the US government as part of an effort to develop a legal strategy for Zambada Niebla’s US criminal case. From the US government’s pleadings in the case: Loya-Castro stated that he had previously met with defendant’s [Zambada Niebla's] attorneys in the Chicago case, together with Mexican lawyers and defendant’s wife, in Mexico City. According to Loya Castro, at that meeting, he advised defense counsel that he would not assist them if they tried to say that defendant had a previous arrangement with the United States government. Loya Castro stated that the American lawyers became visibly upset with Loya Castro’s statement. … On August 24, 2011, Loya Castro called [DEA] Agent Castanon to inform him that Loya Castro had met with a Mexican attorney whom Loya Castro identified as an intermediary between Ismael Zambada-Garcia (“Mayo”) and U.S. defense attorneys representing defendant [Zambada Niebla]. Loya Castro stated he had informed the Mexican attorney of his intention to meet with DEA agents and U.S. prosecutors. Loya Castro reported that the Mexican attorney advised Loya Castro to cancel the meeting. Loya Castro said that the Mexican attorney expressed fear that Loya Castro would say something to jeopardize defense counsel’s strategy. In addition, Loya Castro served as the intermediary for Zambada Niebla in March of 2009 as part of an unsuccessful effort to create a direct cooperating source relationship between Zambada Niebla and US federal agents, US government court pleadings confirm. The fact that Loya Castro has not been tortured and killed by the Sinaloa organization — the usual fate for snitches in the narco world — seems to support the contention that the leadership of the “cartel” condones, or at least sees value in, his ongoing cooperative relationship with the US government. Former deep undercover DEA agent Mike Levine describes the scenario apparently playing out in the Zambada Niebla case this way: This is very typical of DEA infighting with CIA involvement, especially the, well, clumsy stupidity of the whole thing. Of course [Loya Castro] would be meeting with the Sinaloa guys even though he was a known snitch, simply because it is now a respected sport among big bad guys to "play" the US government for their (the cartel's) own advantage. If you are killing the opposition, why not rat on them? [Boston organized crime leader] Whitey Bulger did it successfully for the FBI for decades…. Playing the informant game with our government is now a win-win gambit for every bad guy on the globe. … Don't miss the trees for the forest. If it's weird, sounds like a grade Z movie and is handled in a clumsy, obvious way, it's CIA [behind the curtain pulling the levers].... Some Things to Hide The former federal agent who spoke with Narco News about the Zambada Niebla case, and who asked not to be named, says that in CIPA cases, individuals are often brought in by the government who have “particular specialties, like defending CIA interests.” “Find out what other similar cases they have handled,” the source adds. “Sometimes these answer can be very telling.” In the CIPA filing made by the US government in the Zambada Niebla case, prosecutors ask that the judge appoint “Daniel Hartenstine, Security Specialist, to serve in the position of classified information security officer in this matter.” More from the government’s CIPA pleadings: Mr. Hartenstine will be primarily responsible for all matters related to the security of the classified information involved in this case. At the requested pretrial conference, Mr. Hartenstine will be available to explain the procedures required to authorize the Court’s staff, including law clerks and court reporter, to access and secure any classified material related to this case. Some of these logistical issues require specific paperwork be completed and extensive background checks. Because these issues can be time consuming, the government asks for the opportunity to have Mr. Hartenstine address the Court and defense counsel regarding the applicable procedures. Among the alternates proposed by US prosecutors for the security officer job in the Zambada case is Jennifer H. Campbell. Both Hartenstine and Campbell have played similar roles for the US government as security officers in the highly charged Guantanamo Bay detainee habeas litigation. Those cases challenged, via the writ of habeas corpus, the legitimacy of the US government’s detention of individuals as “enemy combatants” at Guantanamo Bay. Interestingly, there also is a Guantanamo Bay connection in the Zambada Niebla case that might lead to some classified information surfacing in his case. Zambada Niebla, as the US government-described “logistics coordinator” for the Sinaloa organization, is linked to alleged Sinaloa organization money-launderer Pedro Alfonso Alatorre Damy via a Gulfstream II jet (tail number N987SA) that crashed in Mexico in late 2007 with some four tons of cocaine onboard. That aircraft was allegedly purchased with Sinaloa organization drug money laundered through Alatorre Damy’s casa de cambio business and a U.S. bank. And that same aircraft was reportedly suspected of being used previously as part of the CIA’s “terrorist” rendition program and allegedly made a number of trips to Guantanamo Bay between 2003 and 2005, according to media reports and an investigation spearheaded by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. In addition, the Gulfstream II was purchased less than two weeks before it crashed in Mexico by a duo that included a U.S. government operative who allegedly had done past contract work for a variety of US law enforcement and intelligence agencies, according to a known CIA asset (Baruch Vega) who is identified as such in public court records. The four tons of cocaine onboard of the Gulfstream II at the time of its crash landing, according Vega, was purchased in Colombia via a syndicate that included a Colombian narco-trafficker named Nelson Urrego, who, according to Panamanian press reports and Vega, is a U.S. government (CIA) asset. [For more more details on the Gulfstream II story and connections, read Narco News’s past coverage at this link.] Zambada Niebla, who, according to the U.S. government, managed logistics for the Sinaloa organization — a job that entailed overseeing the purchase of aircraft for drug smuggling activities, as well as weapons for enforcement activities — claims in his court pleadings to have been actively cooperating with several U.S. law enforcement agencies since at least 2004. And so it appears the CIA is in the background of Zambada Niebla’s pending criminal case in Chicago (seemingly evidenced by the recent CIPA filing) as it allegedly was in the Gulfstream II cocaine jet case. And it is the CIA that trumps every other U.S. agency when it comes to operations in a foreign land. A former CIA counterintelligence officer, who asked not to be named, explains how it works (and how the Mexican lawyer Loya Castro might have wound up owing primary allegiance to the CIA) as follows: It’s … true that sometimes agents who do narcotics work [like DEA agents] may also do things that are at the same time of interest to the CIA in terms of intelligence collection. If CIA and DEA are working the same person, collecting information, the CIA will get the nod [ultimate control] that’s normal. In the field [overseas] the CIA trumps everyone. … The system is designed so that agencies do not walk over each other’s assets [or informants], so you don’t have two agencies going after the same people for different reasons [DEA to bust them for narco-trafficking and CIA to use them as intelligence assets, for example]. [In those cases, though] it is CIA that gets the preference; CIA is the mother god. Another possible area of concern for the government in the arena of classified information with respect to the Zambada Niebla case has to do with weapons trafficking. His court pleadings reference the controversial U.S Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) weapons-trafficking interdiction program Fast and Furious — an operation, now the subject of Congressional hearings, that allegedly allowed some 2,000 guns to be smuggled across the US/Mexican border under ATF’s watch. As a result of Operation Fast and Furious, Zambada Niebla’s court pleadings assert, about “three thousand people” in Mexico were killed, “including law enforcement officers in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico, headquarters of the Sinaloa Cartel.” More from his court pleadings: Mr. Zambada Niebla believes that the documentation that he requests [from the US government as part of his court case] will confirm that the weapons received by Sinaloa Cartel members and its leaders in Operation ‘Fast & Furious’ were provided under the [immunity] agreement entered into between the United States government and [Chapo Guzman confidante, DEA cooperating source and possible CIA asset] Mr. Loya Castro on behalf of the Sinaloa Cartel…. US prosecutors, in their court pleadings, frame Zambada Neibla’s allegations with respect to Fast and Furious as being baseless: Defendant requests all information in the possession of the U.S. government related to an ATF investigation referred to as “Fast and Furious.” … Defendant’s requests related to Fast and Furious … as well as references to Whitey Bulger, and other unrelated matters are gratuitous and wholly unrelated to any legitimate discovery issues in this case. And so the pretense of the drug war plays out once again in a courtroom somewhere in America, where justice appears as a mere shadow on a wall of deadly secrets and maniacal misdirection. Ron Paul was booed at last night’s CNN/Tea Party debate while explaining his view on why America was attacked on September 11, 2001,” reports ABC News. The corporate media instantly seized on the boos, made by a gaggle of neo-con “Tea Party” members, as a tool through which to portray Paul as un-American, with one acerbic headline even asking whether the Congressman was defending Al-Qaeda. It’s a common smear to equate not supporting foreign occupations as anti-American or against conservative principles, despite the fact that the founding fathers consistently warned against becoming involved in foreign entanglements. But like a lot of the myths circulated by the establishment about Ron Paul, reality reflects a very different picture. Given the fact that Ron Paul has received more money in donations from active duty military personnel than all of the other Republican candidates combined and more than Barack Obama himself, his views on foreign occupations are supported by the very U.S. troops that neo-cons constantly invoke to support maintaining such foreign occupations. Paul’s contention that the troops should be brought home from Afghanistan and Iraq, and that US bases around the world should be closed, is supported by those very same troops. “Paul’s campaign told Politifact that Paul raised $34,480 from people in the military, compared with $19,849 for Obama and $13,848 for the other GOP presidential candidates,” reports USA Today. “The Center for Responsive Politics says $11,350 of Paul’s military donations come from people who work for the Army. In the 2008 campaign, the center found that individuals employed by the Army, Navy and Air Force were Paul’s top three sources of campaign donations.” But it’s not just military service people who are growing tired of America’s unaffordable foreign empire. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, conservatives in general are losing their appetite for war. Only 15 per cent of of likely U.S. Voters think the situation in Afghanistan will improve over the next six months, while more voters than ever before – 59 per cent – now want an immediate troop withdrawal or a firm timetable to be set for ending the occupation. Republicans are more pessimistic than Democrats about the future course of operations in both Afghanistan and Iraq. The 59 per cent figure represents a significant swing from less than two years ago in September 2009, when just 39 per cent wanted the troops pulled out of Afghanistan. Crucially, a slim majority of Republicans now want the troops brought home from Afghanistan, 43 per cent to 42 per cent. Wars launched during the administration of George W. Bush have now become Obama’s wars. Indeed, there are more troops deployed under Obama than there were at any time under Bush. In addition, a mere 13 per cent of Republicans support US military intervention in Libya to topple Colonel Gaddafi. The myth that Republican candidates must not deviate from the neo-con dogma of supporting America’s unsustainable foreign occupations and the ludicrous policy of pre-emptive warfare in order to be electable is disappearing fast. Photographs published by the AP and Reuters show a stern looking Perry holding Paul’s wrist and waving a finger in his face. (PHOTO ON INFOWARS.COM) Reports by Fox News and International Business Times state that during the break Perry “walked up to Paul’s podium, physically grabbed Paul’s wrist, and pointed at Paul’s face with his other hand.” A third man, said to be Paul’s security guard, is seen approaching the podium in the picture. Another photo shows Perry with arms outstretched, leaning in towards Paul engaging in what may be considered lively conversation to say the least. Some Paul supporters have suggested that the shot shows that Perry physically forced Paul away from his own podium during the commercial.
