Also, why are you assigning an academic grading model to a poll that probably isn’t very scientific to begin with?
64% in the political realm is actually a very strong rating. In fact, it almost translates into a “B” if you were to actually assign a grade with historical approval rating serving as the curve.

Damn, he’s doing bad. I gave him all F’s except a B in Iraq, because we don’t need to be there, and a D in Afghanistan because we need to get out, and concentrate on eliminating the terrorist organizations via Ground Intelligence and Covert Ops. These guys are only going to go from country to country, so, arm the people, educate them on democracy and how to protect themselves as a society agains outside influences, and let them be. My brother is getting ready to go to Afghanistan/Pakistan border at the end of the month, I think there is gonna be a “surge”, and I hope everything gets handled well. The sooner we get out of there the better. Spend that money on our borders, and protect OUR nation and OUR citizens, hence, “National Security” or “Homeland Security”. Whatever you want to call it.

And yes, I know there are those that have suspicions on 9/11 and what happened, but the fact is that there ARE extremist organizations, and if something like that did happen, we were duped into this war, but NOW WHAT? We really can’t say “Oops, sorry, We did it again”, because the international community would shit on us and our dollar more than they have already. I think it would be in our best interest to continue with the elimination of violent extremist organizations, and the deterrence of violence from the groups that haven’t gotten that far yet. This is why the Tea-Party (which I think is a great addition to the “political atmosphere” as a whole) needs to check themselves before they start having rogue members/affiliates doing crazy, stupid sh*t while doing it under a supposed “Tea-Party” idealogical issue. Don’t let it get this way. Keep fighting, but use words and education, NOT VIOLENCE!!! That doesn’t mean you need to suppress your passion! YELL, SHOUT, MAKE A STATEMENT, but do it with peace.

Unless you think they’re still ok with Hussein’s bs re. returning troops and offshore drilling. And Obamacare isn’t going to get him the next Nobel, if it’s up to American voters, left and right.
Downplaying this poll and others isn’t going to help is declining approval ratings.
Perhaps Democrats can revive the racecard thing. The left needs racism to maintain power.

I trust the source, sky. Bush said and did the right things up until after his re-election. Then he basically did whatever he wanted to do sans what we felt. Obama will probably climb back up the polls. His focus eventually if not already will be re-election. If he’s re-elected, which I doubt, he might go hard left. Nothing to lose.
Whomever goes up against Obama, you and other zombies will hammer from day one. Should be exciting, even on this site.

Not epic. Not a nig deal. Compared to all other wars, this war is relatively inexpensive and lives lost relatively low. Do the research. I posted this about a year ago here.
Cost of wars as a percentage of GDP. Lives lost as percentage of soldiers sent to fight.
Inglewood, Ca. 2 years ago had a higher homicide rate than Iraq.

When Bush was president liberals wanted the war to cease and troops removed, then and there. Obama promised that would happen almost immediately after he became president.

Yourself, sky, lanc, roxi, other libs that have joined here recently, are good for this site. I rarely agree with you when it comes to Obama but it makes things here interesting.
I have an understanding for blacks that voted for Obama. For this country to have it’s first black president is a great sign. Too bad it couldn’t have been one of many other blacks that were more qualified and moderate, as opposed to the most liberal senator of all senators of ‘07, according to his senate voting record. The only thing that pissed me off about Bush immediately after 9/11 is that we didn’t go after the Islamo countries that supported the 19 virgin chasers quick enough. I thought it took too long, even though I understand planning takes time. I say we blow another 100,000 insurgents to pieces….then we call it a day. I went to one of those crazy racist Tea Parties where they were all wearing red, white, and blue, and walked up to this Tea Party goon, and she broke out an American flag, so I punched the 80 yr old goon in the nose.
That’ll teach them goons. Shoulda seen the look on the other goons faces. One goon got violent and shouted “stop it” in my direction. Fortunately a few patriot liberals standing by had a carton of eggs and were able to defend me from her and had the goon arrested.
