Everything is good here now, Lanc. Thanks for the concern.

Lost internet and cable service for a couple days. Nothing compared to those that lost their homes.

This one got out of control quickly with that wind. Planes were buzzing aound here like flies and comming down extremely low to drop their retardent and water. I was amazed at how low the larger planes were going in and out of these valleys. Those guys are good.

No matter how any one of us feel about one another or our views, you have to put that aside during times like this. No one deserves to have their home destroyed by fire.
I’m glad to hear and see that so few people were displaced considering how crazy the fire was.
I can say that from 55th in Quartz Hill it was an uncomfortable sight to see fire so close. Especially when you can watch the DC-10 on TV and at the same time see/hear it circling your home.
