None Dare Call it Treason
Any doubt that Rodio, Ervin and Abber are running as a slate was removed by the picture in today’s A V Press. There they all were at the mosque, sitting on the same row as Palmdale’s Mayor Jim Ledford, condemning the Mayor of Lancaster for daring to say he is growing a Christian Community.
They tried to turn the word Christian into a dirty word.
It should not be forgotten that they attended this rally after the paper alerted everyone that the group holding the rally was identified by the FBI as a known terrorist group.
This Gang of Four in not only anti-christian, they are anti-american. Is treason too harsh of a word?

terrorist right here in the AV. and why has there been no investigation of the money being diverted from the city coffers to a church, that our elected officials belong to?
i know paul chappell NEEDS his various vacation homes, rentals, 6000 sq ft mansion, BMW’s, etc etc.
but do the citizens of lancaster have to pay for em???
if his LBC members want to practice man adoration, and live in poverty so he can live like a king, fine.
but why do us non members have to pay for his way of life?? INCLUDING LOCAL MUSLIMS.

Actually, you’re wrong AV Observer, I like her! When have not always gotten along on here and we have had our public disputes in this forum, but I admire her for her honesty.I don’t agree with her take on certain people (I personally like Sandy Corrales and she has never done anything to me), but Diana’s issue with her is just that — her issue, not mine.
More people admire Diana than you would care to admit.

It is funny that Rodio’s first election speech was at a Palmdale mosque slamming the Christians. It will sure be interesting to see him in a campaign mailer surrounded by radical muslims. This is better than when he called our deputies inferior police officers. Forget the debate, I want the candidates to take an IQ test.

How creatively ignorant and desperate Rex’s entourage is becoming. I think it’s called paranoia to the highest degree. Anything to get the focus off of Sherry Marquez who made all the major networks.
Hey Mayor, take one of the brighly colored pills. It gives you backbone or take the blue one. It gives you the ability not to loose your temper so easily.
Thanks for noticing me though. I would make a better city manager than Bozigian. CAN’T WAIT TO SEE MAYOR REX’S OFFICIAL CAMPAIGN BULLETIN OF HIS BIOGRAPHY AND HOW HE TREATS PEOPLE CLOSE TO HIM! AFTER ALL, A POLITICIAN’S TRACK RECORD DOES COUNT, RIGHT? LET’S LOOK AT A FEW POSSIBLE THEMES…JUST GUESSING, NOT PROMISING.
Just a few potential nuggets……
1. How to keep mama on the payroll as if she’s your firm’s marketing representative. Two checks a month is all it takes.
2. How to let your brother go to Grace Resources to get food unless there’s a photo opportunity in it for you that requires giving him a bus ticket and a brown bag lunch to leave town, a program you spent $10,000 on.
3. How to scream the word CRIME and milk it to death just to get voters to buy into the fear. It’s one way to get a program like an Eye In The Sky spy machine in the air to keep your eye on all citizens when you have the whim for entertainment. Just a thought.
4. Use photo opportunities with Sheriff Baca because he’s more well liked than you;
5. Investigate everyone and anyone who stands in your path to the power and control you crave just because you have the money to do so. Dig up dirt on people to keep them in fear of you and in line.
6. Treat the community to a virtual tour of homes you may own or rent in places like Cabo and Liguna. Let us know when you’ll be leaving us after the community is a dust bowl or in so much debt or redevelopment debt to suffocate everyone.
7. List all the city council members who have rolled over to make money for the Titans in the past. Take the community on a virtual tour of their homes outside of Lancaster too.
8. Treat people like a KEY former campaign worker who helped you win your election by introducing you to soccer families and the Rattlers big boys, AND in the process helped in keeping your recent $4 million soccer tournament on track when Parks and Rec dropped the ball. Demonstrate how your firm treated her as a client when you had no more use for her;
9. Show the community your true leadership skills like not visiting the home of a KEY family member in five years (who lives in the same town) or your telling someone how you wouldn’t interact with a dying brother or return his phone call or email.
Yep, what a guy for the people to emulate and admire. Can’t wait to see that platform filled with all the:

I’d love to debate Rex or Ron.
Name the day, the time, the place.
Ron is a weasel who would crumble within five minutes. Rex, he’d take a while. But Rex doesn’t debate. He’ll do something like call one of his commander friends right before the debate and accuse me of something. Anything for a photo opportunity.
Been there, done that. I know the depth of Rex’s hate and the extent he will go to to make his clout felt. If he can do some of the things to him mom she has shared with me, the rest of us don’t have a prayer if Rex controls the police, the courts and some workers over there, the da’s office, and up the line.
All we have is each other and that’s not saying much because most people are too afraid to do anything.
Been there. Done that. Expect Rex to attack directly or through someone at any moment. That’s his modus operandi.
It’s like a blinding hate. Heck — I’m telling too much. Don’t want to reveal to much about what both I and Bill Parris know. Thank God Bill was my friend.

AvBorn is correct. I’ve been on both sides of the aisle now and Rex is by far the most evil of them all. The games he plays with people’s lives is truly an ABOMINATION TO GOD. (Thank you Loretta B. That was such an accurate account that night of what Rex embodies.)
Been there, believed in him, saw it, felt it, lost my health over it because it was a devastating experience on top of the PSD mess he was a part of. He actually laughed as he told me about who played what game in the PSD scandal. He laughed and I said to myself, ‘burning in hell is too good for this man.’ But then again, Rex thinks he is invincible and omnipotent.
In the end I felt sorry for Nancy Smith of the PSD. I knew this laughing fool in front of me had had the Titans do nothing more than play her and I against each other.

The AVRA attack dogs are good at what they do. They will stand at nothing to keep there power. Even though I was never a Ledford fan, he was able to build a base that kept AVRA at bay in Palmdale politics. AV politics is a fierce business, I say again, a BUSINESS!!!!!! The Runners, Visco, REX, will never voluntarily walk away from their positions of power. In their minds, they are like our shepherd. The AV would fall apart if they were not running things. It would also hurt their business interests. Money equals power.

I don’t happen to give a damn about the high school-ish – indeed childish nonsense known as local politics. But the amusingly egotistical R. Rex Parris’ sycophantic and cowardly supporters are really quite sickening because not only does their anonymity reveal their cowardice, so too does it delitigimize their defense and promotion of the obviously self-serving R. Rex Parris. For with their knowing that he may be able to help satisfy their lust for money notwithstanding, they know that associating their true identities with knavish characters the likes of R. Rex is simply too risky a proposition.
