Winning Strategies for Campaign Politicians
1- Stop campaigning and start helping people stay in their homes.
2- Stop foreclosures till borrowers mortgage loan documents are reviewed for fraud, waste and abuse.
3- Stop evictions pending good faith efforts to address 1 and 2.
Lastly, since you wont have to spend a dime in campaigning you can in turn help the City by converting those funds to paychecks for public service staff, sheriff’s deputies, and social services providers.
If this is done, guess who you helped- Homeowners and co-workers who would be your unsolicited voters loyal to you for the rest of your political life.
Make the Antelope Valley a place to call home.
Literally.

Y’know, its kinda funny how the City of Lancaster has a policy against donating money to nonprofits that help in the community but they have no problems giving the public’s money away to for profit ventures of the mayor’s buddies.

To be fair, the policy against general donations to nonprofit organizations has been in effect for a very long time and has nothing to do with the current administration. It does make sense, though, as every nonprofit perpetually needs money to provide their services and the city would have a tough time maintaining its own funding for operations if it gave out all the money in grants to local nonprofits. After all, nearly oll nonprofit organizations are for a good cause and where would the city draw the line on donating to one charity but not another?
Said policy does, however, allow for mutal contracts with city funding with nonprofits for specific functions/events/programs.
