OBAMA DESTROYED RUBIO: Liberals press delete!
Amazing, a fellow blogger was all jazzed at Obama’s press conference where he announced his Executive Order to legalize illegal aliens.

This blog was titled “Obama Destroys Rubio.”. Do you Recall it? After about 30 responses, the host blogger pulled it down after 3 days of good debate. The topics changed from Rubio, The Patriot Act, and the economy. I guess, after being on the losing end of all the debates, the host ran and hid.

HERE IS THE BLOG BEFORE IT WAS DELETED!

After hearing Romney’s response I would say Obama, has also destroyed Romney. Romney, now appears to be an amnesty candidate. Obama, smoked him out.

I don’t see how Obama smoked anyone. He probably gained ground with Hispanics after losong ground with Hispanics over contraception and same sex marriage.
This Order was a political move made before Rubio could go public. The problem is , Obama just slammed the door on true Americans, many of whom need and want them. There is more to Rubio than an immigration policy. Obama can continue to make Executive Orders on issues ignoring the will of the people, but it will cost Obama with many voters. Acting like Hugo Chavez will not impress people.

On balance, I think that politically Obama may have lost more than he gained. It may turn out that many, if not most, of those angered by this announcement already opposed his re-election.
But this was by no means a safe political move.

Politics is at its heart about building coalitions. But a coalition of Hispanics, blacks and gays is an uneasy one. It’s not that they can’t be united in a common purpose, but it’s the vast middle-ground, working-class, common-sense American who will decide this.

Obama’s staff are out of their minds. After announcing his support for Same Sex Marriage, Obama got the support of the ignorant leadership of the NAACP. That support of the president’s endorsement created a divide in the black community, especially amongst the black churches. I suspect Obama’s support with Black Americans dropped from 95% to 91%. still, in a close race, a couple of percentage points means a lot. Although gay marriage is a social issue, Obama is losing on the economy, and created a furor among the working class and the legal unemployed people who want jobs.
Obama may lose on Obama-Care, may lose the Federal Case in Arizona, and gay marriage is not very popular. He is running on a flawed agenda and Rubio is not harmed by this.

It is not the economy, stupid. The election in November will be won or lost by the votes in a small group of “SWING” states. Untill today when Obama, again made fools of the gutless republicans, RUBIO was Romney’s secret ace-in-the-hole….
Obama’s announcement was very similar to one by Florida GOP Sen. Marco Rubio, in that it is an alternative to the DREAM Act. Rubio, has been silenced and made to look foolish.

Todays announcement is a welcome to many kids, born here, who know no other nation. They were desparate for an answer and a champian. Obama delivered. Rubio and Romney just look like gready GRINGOS….. BRILLIANT POLITICAL THRUST…

Yes I can. Romney has a better plan than Obama does. Romney comes in as a more Qualified and experienced candidate than Obama was in 08. President Bush, if you can remember, tried to ammend the home loan problems with Freddy Mac and Fannie Mai. He knew giving out large amounts of cash to people who could most likely not make good on the loans. I think you can recall leading Dems saying there was no problem with the loans. Bush knew it was going to collapse. Bush was hit with 911 and there was a need to create numerous Federal agencies under DHS which was a huge cost. In 2003, Dems were screaming about a 4% unemployment rate. The market reached 14,000, all before the housing market wrecked. As much as the media blames Bush, along with Obama, the economy is the fault of both Dems , 911, and the GOP.

Highground: Again, that is why Bush was trying to end Clinton’s policy of allowing everyone to buy a house. With banks and lending institutions easing the requirements for home purchases, Bush could see the impending crisis.
As for foreclosures, why should people who fall behind on home loans be given a free ride. If that was the case, everyone would fall behind on payments to gain the free benefits. There has to be consequences, though unfortunate.

Even Obama has not followed through with loan modifications. I agree with modification programs and agree the banks are slow to enact such programs. There was a report that showed that a high percentage of actual loan modifications still lead to the borrower falling behind again.

When buying a house, there is mortgage insurance for the lender. When a home is foreclosed on, the lender is paid the loan back through insurance. Is it possible, politicians who pushed Fannie and Freddie loans got kick backs. Look at Franklyn Rains, a favorite with Dems, who ran federal loan programs. Rains got rich and when called onto the carpet, the likes of Maxine Waters and Barney Frank defended the loan practice.

The truth is, there was money to be made by giving loans to “poor” people with Negative Am Loans. Country Wide was the biggest violator in the loan industry those loans. It is all about commissions.

The left will blame Bush for tbe programs started under Clinton, even when Bush tried to correct the problem. When the programs failed, the Dems blamed Bush forgetting they defended those programs.

Going back on topic. How is Rubio destroyed by Obama’s Executive Order? Neither Romney or Rubio are in a position to sign Executive Orders. TARP had nothing to do with banks lending to home owners. It simply was a scam to pass treasury funds in massive amouts to corrupt banks. It occured at the very end of the tragic Bush term.
The government should never “bail” anyone out. Not corporations or home owners. Had the government stayed out of the selective give-away program, home prices would be affordable today and the banks that were honest enough to survive would be paying interest on savings accounts.

TARP and the PATRIOT ACT are products of Bush…….

Illegal Aliens and spendidng beyond the budget are products of Reagon….Please spare us from the phoney conservatives….

Obama “did his thing” to destroy and expose Rubio. IT WORKED. Mr. Cream Puff Romney, still has not taken a position on the ILLEGALS………. guess he just does not know what to say.

Ok, here we go again with the Patriot Act. Highground, what is wrong with the Patriot Act?
I have debated Cybernut, Roxi the Ferocious, and Ray on this issue and I never get any straight answers about the Patriot Act and how it is screwing us over. President Bush, after 911, had to do something to protect this country from further attacks. DHS was created and the Patriot Act, a program used to gather intel and monitor the population targeting specific terror related suspects. No one on this blog has been negatively affected by the Patriot Act other than it is a subject to distrust the government.

If Bush had not created the Patriot Act, the Dems would be screaming that Bush was not doing anything to protect the country. Reid and Pelosi would have created the Patriot Act and libs would be praising it.

The anger towards the Patriot Act comes from people who selectively chose to forget why it was created, 911.

Look at Obama on GITMO. He made a big deal signing a document shutting it down. It is still open. Apparently it works just fine and the prisoners there sing like birds when water boarded.

Unemployment Higher Among Native Born than Immigrants
Monday, June 18, 2012, 9:41 AM EDT – posted on NumbersUSA

The unemployment rate for immigrant workers in the United States is lower than the unemployment rate for native-born workers, according to data from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS).

BLS’s data show that unemployment among foreign born workers in May 2012 was 7.4 percent, while for native-born workers it was 8.0 percent.

The data also show that in 2012, unemployment numbers among foreign born workers has dropped more than those of native born workers. From January to May 2012, the unemployment rate among foreign born workers has decreased by 2 percent, while among native born workers it has only decreased by .7 percent.

According to BLS, the percentage of immigrants participating in the labor force declined less than one percent. In January 2009, 67.2 percent of immigrants were in the labor force. By May 2012, that had dropped to 66.3 percent.

The BLS derives its unemployment statistics from what it calls the civilian non-institutional population. This includes all people 16 years or older who are not on active duty in the military, or in a prison, a nursing home or a mental hospital. People are considered in the labor force if they are part of the civilian non-institutional population and they either currently have a job or have actively sought a job in the last four weeks.

According to BLS, in January 2009, there were 35,007,000 million foreign-born people in the civilian non-institutional population of the United States. By May 2012, that number was 37,504,000, an increase of about 2.5 million.

Today, there are about 12,625,000 foreign-born people in the civilian non-institutional population who are not in the labor force. Back in January 2009, there were about 11,466,000. That means there are approximately an additional 1.1 million immigrants in the United States today who are not working, or trying to find work, than there were three and a half years ago, when President Obama was inaugurated.

BLS’s data shows that the increase in immigration over the past 3 years has contributed to the unemployment numbers in the United States.

According to CNSNews.com, BLS’s data on the foreign born population does not distinguish between people who are in the United States legally and people who are here illegally.

Read the full story and BLS’s unemployment statistics at CNSNews.com.

La Raza is a classic far left liberal group who screams and yells without knowing what any true consequences would be if their wishes and demands were to come true.

La Raza’s demands, if passed, would mean its members would have to get jobs and work. They want college educations for what purpose? The colleges are bases for La Raza to meet, have a voice, and recruit members. They don’t want to graduate because then they would no longer have a reason to attend college and get free shit. Can the President lie. Yes! President Obama, during an interview with a Spanish language news outlet, was asked about Fast and Furious. The President denied any knowledge of that program. Can he lie, yes he can. The President is under no obligation to tell the truth in regards to matters of national security or that are of top secret nature.

Police officers can lie to people to obtain information during interviews and can release bogus info to the press during active investigations. President Obama, is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the USA and is the Commander in Chief. If there are national security concerns involving Fast and Furious, I support the Executive Privilege declared by the White House if national security is at risk. That is where the White House needs to meet in private with a committee to present the security concerns.

I tend to think that Obama is using Executive Privilege to protect his re-election chances and is more politically motivated than a national security concern.

The Dems cried foul when President Nixon used the Executive Privilege during the Watergate investigation. Now the Dems are rallying around President Obama defending the Executive Privilege in a case involving a murder of a law enforcement officer. Watergate was a burglary of DNC headquarters by Nixon aids. Fast and Furious involving a murder of a cop. What is more serious?

I just heard an interesting thing on Rush. Of course, the Executive Privilege is dominating the topics. Obama has been an opponent of assault weapons and Fast and Furious may have been an attempt to use assault weapon violence to enrage Americans to support a ban.

The Dems have attempted to blame Fast and Furious on Bush, but when asked for supporting documentation, Holder cannot produce or won’t produce the documents. If it was a Bush program from pre-2008, Obama would have a hard time saying he did not know about the program. Obama by denying any knowledge has limited his arguments for a defense.
