The engineer who garnered global press attention by proving the TSA’s fleet of body scanners were completely useless is causing the federal agency more embarrassment – by highlighting the fact that the TSA argues that it can lie to the public for “security” reasons.
The claim appears in a lawsuit brought by Jon Corbett over his unlawful detention by TSA officers at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Corbett was detained for an hour at a TSA checkpoint after he refused to allow security screeners to perform an advanced pat down, which as we have documented often includes TSA agents literally touching people’s genitals.
After filing a Freedom of Information Act request in an attempt to obtain video footage of the incident, Corbett was told by Broward County authorities that “there are no documents, photographs, audio, or video that exist for this request,” despite the fact that the airport was littered with signs saying “Checkpoint under video surveillance,” in addition to Corbett personally seeing “more than a dozen visible camera domes.”
When Corbett included the charge that Broward County and the TSA had lied about the non-existence of the video footage as part of the lawsuit, Broward County attempted to have the judge dismiss the claim because of their belief that lying to the public is acceptable for “security reasons,” in turn tacitly admitting that the footage does exist, which represents a clear violation of the FOIA.
“The County was required by the TSA to withhold that information because it (the existence of video from any particular CCTV camera) constituted SSI (Sensitive Security Information). Any disclosure of the existence of the videotape would have violated both TSA directives and federal regulations pertaining to the disclosure of SSI,” states the lawsuit.
In other words, “TSA directives” apparently allow for the federal; agency to lie to the American public and also superseed the sanctity of the Freedom of Information Act.
“What kind of democracy would we be in when the government is allowed to lie to its citizens? How can we meaningfully exercise our constitutional rights to vote, petition our government for redress, and due process when the government not only hides from us the facts, but affirmatively says the exact opposite of the truth?” asks Corbett.
“Luckily, there is no precedent for allowing deception in FOIA responses based on a designation of “sensitive security information,” and I do fully expect the judge to slap down Broward’s motion. The best they can lawfully do, if there were legitimately a security concern about disclosing the existence of the videos, is to have simply said, “We can’t confirm or deny if a record exists.” Lying is simply unjustifiable, and it’s truly sad that a judge has to tell them that lying to the public is wrong.”
Back in March, Corbett released a You Tube video which illustrated how he was able to fool the TSA’s $1 billion dollar fleet of body scanners by simply securing an object inside an external pocket sewn on to an item of clothing.
The clip prompted widespread press attention and a TSA response that failed to even refute the claims made in the video, which went viral on You Tube and has close to 2 million views.
The federal agency even went to the lengths of threatening mainstream media reporters not to cover the story, claiming Corbett “clearly has an agenda” and should not “be aided by mainstream media.”
Corbett followed up by interviewing a TSA whistleblower who revealed that the scanners routinely fail to pick up prohibited items such as knives, guns and powder designed to resemble explosive material.
Corbett is also engaged in a second lawsuit against the TSA, currently with the Supreme Court, which seeks to eliminate both enhanced grope-downs as well as naked body scanners.

Really? Congress disband a governmental bureaucracy? Like that will ever happen.
Look at the DOE formed under Jimmy Who to make us oil (and energy in general) independent. It was merged with the Atomic Energy Commission. They were a small department. Since then, they have grown into one of the biggest governmental agencies in the country. Since their creation we have become MORE dependent on foreign oil (and energy in general.) Another success story.

Highground you must not understand. Congress is purely ceremonial now. While constitutionally they have the authority to coin money, declare war, and veto the president, today the constitution is violated regularly with no one except us “constitutionalists” to say peep about it. EVEN if congress wanted to nullify the TSA, Obama would step in or the TSA would just shine congress on and no one would do anything about it. The president is supposed to get approval from congress if he wants to send troops into battle. But this president says he would seek UN approval and maybe tell congress what he is planning. Tell not ask as he is supposed to do.

For the past 100 years there has been a serious effort to destroy the USA Constituional government. It nearly succeeded. Many believe that the NWO is in control. It is not. It IS BROKE.
The Federal Reserve Bank note is fiat currency and failing. The was the power of the NWO. The Constitution is on the rise.
Some time during the next Congress the United States Treasury, backed by silver, will replace the Federal Reserve Note.
Go to your computers…… You will find there is infact a contract between congress and the Federal Reserve Bank in 1913/14 that has a buy out section. The Federal Reserve Bank is private. Federal Reserve Bank debt is not the debt of the American government or It’s citizens.

If the Constitution were truly on the rise amongst our politicians answer me why Rand Paul just pulled the biggest bonehead move he could. He threw support behind Romney. He just lost millions of supporters. We NEVER compromise with globalists…EVER! There is only one way, the freedom way.
Broke you say? They own the gold that used to be in Fort Knox, our gold, Americas gold. The only way to defeat them is, sadly with head on confrontation where millions will end up dead but as long as the globalists are in those numbers it is worth it in my opinion.

Federal Reserve notes have from day one been fiat money. The US Govt (based on congressional legislation) authorized that the Treasury borrow money. That money is borrowed from the central bank (Federal Reserve). Collateral for said loan is federal property. The way that all this works is set up so that the govt. can never buy back the dept. Every dollar borrowed cost more than $1.10 (or so). There is no gold or silver owned by the USA. The federal reserve owned it. It’s gone.
As far as the Constitution, it has been usurped by unconstitutional congressional legislation, unconstitutional presidential executive orders and an unscrupulous Supreme Court, as well as illegal and unconstitutional actions on the part of the Justice Department.
This has been going on since the Civil War. The fact of the matter is that the international banking cabal has controlled our govt. since that time.

Highground only you believe the NWO defeated itself. I do not see Obama arrested, the PATRIOT Act reversed, Bush and Cheney arrested, Troops coming home, Illegals rounded up, Free Trade agreements torn up and tarrifs reinstituted, I see nothing but a march toward global government.

The NWO failed in Copenhagen when they were unsuccessful in establishing a carbon tax on the citizens of the world. That would have funded the World Bank, which in turn would have funded the goals of the NWO. They desperately needed another source of income. Their Bank, the Federal Reserve was failing.
Untill Nixon, took the Nation off the Gold standard the Federal Reserve was not fiat currency. It was part of their (the bankers) plan to replace the Fed with the World Bank funded by a world wide tax. A plan that had been secretly in place for decades. Spear headed by Maruice Strong.
Get out of the past. During the last few Presidencies the American people were not given a choice. There obviously was not a differance between Bush and Obama. It has been just a continuation of the NWO. That was by design.
There is night and day between Obama and Romney. Thanks to the INTERNET, for the first time in decades, it does not matter who the national news media supports.

“In late April, four TSA employees at Los Angeles International Airport were arrested on charges of allowing a total of some 190 pounds of Marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine, with an estimatede street value approaching $1.8 million, to pass through airport security scanners in five separate “pass-through” incidents."
It is shocking that it only took $1,200 per pass through. A shockingly small amount of money.

The BBC is set to air a new ‘Conspiracy Road Trip’ hit piece on the 7/7 London bombings. As we saw with last summer’s 9/11 version, the program tries to get “truthers” to recant and swallow the official story – in the process ideologically burning them at the stake for the consumption of the viewing sheeple.
I talk to Jon Scobie of We Are Change Birmingham who took part in the filming as one of the central participants. He astoundingly reveals that producers admitted to him from the start that the show would not be unbiased, and that no less than five executive-level directors make the decisions on editing before the programme even airs.
This is a fascinating insight into how the mainstream media manipulates controversial subjects for the mass consumption of the ignorant public.
