Mayor Parris, Councilman Smith, and Commissioner Crist Urge You to VOTE!
LANCASTER – Mayor Rex Parris, Councilmember Ron Smith, and Criminal Justice Commissioner Marvin Crist are urging all Lancaster residents to get out and vote on April 13th, 2010. Mayor Parris, Councilmember Smith, and Commissioner Crist have stated that they are very proud of the election process in Lancaster and are really looking forward to seeing voters get out and vote. Mayor R. Rex Parris, Councilmember Ron Smith, and Criminal Justice Commissioner Marvin Crist all feel that citizens should look at the ballot measures and vote, as they will.
Mayor Parris, Councilmember Smith, and Commissioner Crist are reminding voters that polls are open at 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 13, 2010. Mayor Parris said, “Councilmember Ron Smith and Criminal Justice Commissioner Marvin Crist agree with me that all voters should get out and vote. I hope that all voters get this message from me, Mayor R. Rex Parris, Councilmember Ron Smith, and Criminal Justice Commissioner Marvin Crist who are all in agreement about what’s important: voting.”
Councilmember Ron Smith said, “Mayor R. Rex Parris and Commissioner Marvin Crist as well as myself, believe that voting is a duty that all citizens should engage in. I look forward to positive engagement with citizens on the measures on the ballot.”
Criminal Justice Marvin Crist said, “I totally agree with Mayor R. Rex Parris and Councilmember Ron Smith that all citizens should most assuredly consider all of the measures on the ballot. I think a safe community is a voting community. I think the voting process is all about creating jobs and public safety.”
Mayor R. Rex Parris, our Mayor in Lancaster, along with Councilmember Ron Smith, who is promising that the public will be safe on Election Day, and Criminal Justice Commissioner Marvin Crist, who is very happy about all of the jobs that will be created on Election Day, all urge you to vote on April 13th, 2010.
