CA Assembly Race
Well the race to replace Steve Knight in the CA 36th seat is moving on and there are a couple of new endorsements surfacing.
Ron Smith picked up three of the city council members from South of the Cactus Curtain; Mayor Pro Tem Steve Hofbauer and Palmdale City Councilmembers Mike Dispenza and Laura Bettencourt.
Is Buck’s wife in or out on the R side of the ditch?
So who is running on the Democrat side of the ditch?
Steve Fox seems to be the only announced Democrat running, will there be others? By the way, I haven’t seen any endorsements for Fox being announced. Too early in the race for endorsements yet, or is Fox too far out of the mainstream of the Democratic party thinking.

Sadly, you are right. Hopefully, we get some more people who are qualified to toss their hats in. It’s still early. Though, I’m willing to bet that Maggie Campbell will be the next to announce.

Watching the Donks will be fun, I always love a good party fight.
My take; there’s the Maxine Waters machine folks who took over the Donks of the High Desert, Beer Hall Putsch anyone, against the old traditional Democratic’s axis of Labor, Teachers, Gay folk and of course the Hispanic vote.
Maggie Campbell, well last time she ran was not so good and I’m not sure what has changed to change that fact. Her conservative preacher act sure got up the noses of some of the Donks up here in the AV for sure.

Well if Lackey is running it’s not real great that three of his fellow Palmdale council members have endorsed Deputy Dog Smith. Awkward….

In my view, if the race comes down to Fox v Smith, Smith should win easily. The more crowded the field gets on ether side makes the race a bit more of a toss up.
