Obama wins Nobel Prize!
I’m with The White House aides “is it April 1st?”

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/president-obama-wins-nobel-peace-prize/story?id=8788973

You can’t make this stuff up folks. A missle hits the moon this morning and everything is now upside down.

The Nobel Prize is even worse tarnished that when that joke peanut famrmer won it.

Remember war is peace, I said so. If you don’t like I’ll get my Minister of Truth to charge you with a hate crime.

It is truly a New World Order, where the clowns won. Now all of us are clowns for falling for this insanity.

I suspect soon Obama will shoot 18 on a 18 hole golf course right after he memorizes a phone book a day, after he masters the Spanish language, after he personally invents…fill in the blank.

Only two sitting presidents prior to Obama won the Noble Peace prize. Woodrow Wilson he got us into WWI, and FDR, who got us into WWII.

I predict a big war to help our economy most likely started by a massive terrorist attack and most likely a nuclear attack of some form.

Other winners have been Al Gore, Yasser Arafat, and Jimmy Carter.

Here’s Robert De Niro’s reaction to Obama winning the prestigious award.

Now, seriously folks, this Nobel prize is damm funny and me sure even Barry doesn’t know how/why he received it.
Sort of like winning a GRAMMY AWARD..Totally meaningless.

Well, Obumbles head now fits his ears. His already inflated ego must be sky high. I don’t put much into this award anymore. Carter,Arifat and Gore the bore won this big deal. The hype is totally worn off and people are sick to death. I don’t think he won this but for one reason only to continue the irritation America already feels toward this man. The polls show it pretty clear that people do not think he deserved this award. He said it himself. If he was not such a can’t hack it panty waist he would not accept this award. He is so full of himself that would never happen. What a freaking joke.

A call to action
This morning, Michelle and I awoke to some surprising and humbling news. At 6 a.m., we received word that I’d been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009.

To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who’ve been honored by this prize — men and women who’ve inspired me and inspired the entire world through their courageous pursuit of peace.

But I also know that throughout history the Nobel Peace Prize has not just been used to honor specific achievement; it’s also been used as a means to give momentum to a set of causes.

That is why I’ve said that I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for all nations and all peoples to confront the common challenges of the 21st century. These challenges won’t all be met during my presidency, or even my lifetime. But I know these challenges can be met so long as it’s recognized that they will not be met by one person or one nation alone.

This award — and the call to action that comes with it — does not belong simply to me or my administration; it belongs to all people around the world who have fought for justice and for peace. And most of all, it belongs to you, the men and women of America, who have dared to hope and have worked so hard to make our world a little better.

So today we humbly recommit to the important work that we’ve begun together. I’m grateful that you’ve stood with me thus far, and I’m honored to continue our vital work in the years to come.

Thank you,

President Barack Obama

Sounds pretty good to me. An effort towards world peace? Who can be against that?

This whole Nobel Peace prize is now even more of a joke!

I strongly believe it is a setup! Whoever decided to nominate Obama did so prematurely since the deadline for nominations had to be in by February 1st just days after he became President.

http://nobelprize.org/nomination/peace/process.html

Does that mean Obama was selected for his great leadership as a U.S. Senator maybe?? I think,NOT! Surely Obama was not in office long enough to actually do anything deserving of this prize. But hey, if AraFAThead and Peanut Boy Carter as well as Al Gorp can win the Nobel peace prize then why should I really think anything of this prize? It is a JOKE!

Perhaps this is a way for those who made this selection to mock our country by voting for President Obama to receive this prize and to further aggravate hostilities towards us?Especially so, since Obama is looking lost as to why he even received this prize as to make even a bigger mockery of this whole ordeal.

The best thing President Obama could do is gracefully return it and ask that it be given to someone who has proven them self to be worthy of it.

But if President Obama will not deflect the glory or rebuke those who sing songs to him by removing spiritual references to God in sacred hymns and substituting Obama’s name in place thereof, then why would he reject this peace prize anyhow?

No wonder America is looked upon as a BIG FAT JOKE!

Here is the best response I have heard and it came from Bill O’Rielly..

He commented that he loved the fact that Obama, an American President, received the prize.. His opinion is that it is GOOD for America… It will at least give some who think we are war mongers a reason to Pause..

I agree with him… This award, if looked as an honor for America, and not only for Obama (which is what he said), is a good thing..

Thank You Bill O’Reilly for an amazing perspective, bereft of political bigotry or emotion..

roxi,

You crack me up. You think I am a “traitor?”

Even Matt Keltner brought up a good point. Actually, I think it may even be better then mine.

Ryapp: Perhaps Norway awarded Obama the Nobel Peace Prize through his efforts in his campaign for HOPE and peace IN the world, and WON the election by the American people, that he deserved this award to further his efforts. The Nobel Peace Prize isn’t primarily for past efforts or recognition for deeds done. It can also be for efforts to change the tide of political and war distress.

You said that you think Obama should return his award and give it to someone more worthy. I think the world looks at our country for guidance – especially since we just ‘bombed the moon’.

I am grateful that we have restored our image to the world – and hope that we can live up to it. You on the other hand, see this as a farce. I am sorry you do not believe in this country and what it stands for.

Ryapp,

Some Obama supporters take it personal when you speak out against him. All you did was suggest he have it given to someone more worthy.

It wasn’t Obama’s fault he recieved the award. There were so many that were more worthy, but the Nobel committee has become a joke. Al Gore, Jimmy Carter, Yasser Arafat (how many people did he kill?)

can’t get past his ‘color’, eh? And what does that have to do with the progress in our country? As long as you fear ‘people of color’ you fear. Who’s to say I’m the same ‘color’ as Obama, or these children I see in your edited Utube video above?
WHY DOES THAT MATTER?

A Harley biker is riding by the zoo in Washington , DC when he sees a
little girl leaning into the lion’s cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by
the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her,
right before the eyes of her horrified parents.

The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square
on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps
back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified
parents, who thank him endlessly.

A reporter has watched the whole event.

Addressing the Harley rider, the reporter says, ‘Sir, this was the most
gallant and brave thing I’ve seen a man do in my whole life.’

The Harley rider replies, ‘Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was
behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger and acted as I felt
right.’

The reporter says, ‘Well, I’ll make sure this won’t go unnoticed. I’m a
journalist, you know, and tomorrow’s paper will have this story on the
front page… So, what do you do for a living and what political
affiliation do you have?’

The biker replies, ’I’m a U.S. Marine and a Republican.’

The journalist leaves.

The following morning the biker buys the paper to see if it indeed brings
news of his actions, and he reads the headline:

U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT, STEALS HIS
