The "Dreaded" Amero
Here’s a topic for further discussion:

I brought this up on the morning show with Ray and Amir earlier today….

America is in debt, this is fact. The dollar is facing trouble, this, also, is true. The euro is at an all-time high in value against the dollar at something like $1.38 per 1 euro. Now, one theory of the purpose of this is having to do with how the US Treasury prints money without anything real to back it up, so the value is dropping.

Now here’s the question I posed:
If the American government sees the dollar collapsing, what makes them think that this new amero will be any different?

Now, Ray said this morning that the amero is backed by gold.

So the discussion I want to see is…would this transission of currency be to our benefit? If our dollar has no value behind it, would the amero be the way to go to boost our economy up and make the American currency the most sought after again?

An inky dark cloud of pessimism arises each morning from south Antelope Valley. It usually reaches a peak when Ben from Palmdale calls in.

So to recap the morning all Ben all the time show on 1470 I’ll repeat what I heard. “It’s bad, it’s really bad out there. The rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer. Iraq is awful and Bush is a moron.”

I tuned out, I felt bad enough without having it shoveled on. Turn on 103.1 and suddenly every thing was brighter and lighter and happier. Something about that can do cowboy spirit that is infectious.

David, what does your last comment have to do with my comment or the current topic?

Nobody is worried about Ameros. They are worried about being stuck in traffic towing their toys to their vacations.

Want to fix a problem you first must identify the problem. Our government takes too much of our money. Do away with paycheck withholding, let the worker get his full measure of pay then send them a bill for the services they want. After the revolt government will provide much less and taxes will be lower and our problems will be less.

david, the amero is similar to the euro. it is just another step towards an eventual one-world currency.

Bag you worry Bush blew up the WTC, so my guess is a majority of Americans would think you are a tad irrational.

If we made each worker aware what government costs by billing them for it instead of withholding it from their paycheck, our problems would be fixed in a flash.

Worrying about Iraq, or Ameros, or illegal immigration, or super highways, are simply things to get our minds off the real problem. The problem is we give those greedy bastards way too much money. If as many people flooded congress with the immigration bill flooded congress with call for revoking paycheck withholding we would be well on our way to fixing the wrongs we all tilt at.
